y/ns pov

i made a mistake.

it's been week since richie came over and i realized how stupid i was.

i need him.

my feet found my way to my front door and i opened it.

"richie?" i asked, there he was standing there.

"y/n." he breathed

i ran to him.

i had a bright smile on my face.

"you came back." i whispered, pulling him into a hug.

"you knew i would." he said back, which made me laugh.

"god i missed you richie tozier." i said.

"i missed to y/n y/l/l." he responded.

it was as if the universe shifted to where it was supposed to be.

i loved him and he loved me nothing could get in our way.

november 31st 2018

"hey y/n let's go out tonight." richie said drunkenly snaking an arm around my shoulder.

in which i shook it off

"richie you're extremely drunk, you are not going out to get even more drunk." i said.

"come on y/n it'll be f-fun." he tried to reason.

my mind wandered back to the last time i went to a party with richie. it was with eddie.

"richie please don't make this hard on me. i don't want you to get even more wasted then you already are." i sighed placing a hand on my forehead.

"y/n please." he begged, "i promise i'll be good."

"ok fine fuck it." i said standing up, "i'll go change."

i quickly made me way to my room.

i slipped a black crop top and and a black skirt that came with the shirt on.

and we were off

8:39

there was a familiar song blaring in the dark room.

hanging by the bar at sunrise

i had gone over to get myself some water.

with our bodies talking

eddie.

hooked up last week had a good time

all the thoughts flooded back in my mind.

so i regret nothing

my drink fell to the ground breaking the glass

"oh my god." i whispered

richie saw me out of the corner of his lying eyes and i saw no regret.

so i left.

december 1 2018

my eyes adjusted to the sunlight spreading across my room.

my tear stained eyes were dry.

my heart ached.

"hey beverly?" i asked into my phone after calling beverly.

"what? what is so imp-"

"i saw richie and eddie kissing again." i blurted feeling tears again, start to well up

"wHat?" she yelled making me giggle slightly

"i'll be over in a minute!" she added

"wait beverly i think richies back." i said hearing my garage door open.

"hold up i'm pulling into your neighborhood. lock yourself in the bathroom." she laughed

"beverly hurry."

before i could start talking again she was in.

"RICHIE HOW COULD YOU!" beverly yelled which also made me giggle.

i made my way down the stairs to where they were arguing.

i was a mess.

"i saw a look in your eyes richie, a look i couldn't forget." i said.

beverly stepped back and richie came closer to me but i stepped away.

"you didn't regret it.."

"what are you talking about y/n?" he said bringing his arms to mine but i pulled away.

"don't deny it richie. you don't love me anymore." i reasoned.

it wasn't hard.

in fact it was one of the easiest thing i've ever done.

"you need to leave richie." i spoke

"y/n no i do love you, i was drunk you know that." richie reasoned

"i know richie." i said the tears no longer brimming my eyes, "leave."

he walked out. head hanging low.

i ran up to beverly with my arms outspread.

"woah y/n chill." she laughed embracing the hug.

"thank you beverly."
