"That crazy, ugly, motherfu-" I began.
"Whoa, there. It's okay, no need to cuss her out." Ethan said.
I groaned.
We were seated on Ethan's porch, chilling out. At 10 P.M...
"Please just change the subject..." I said, holding my head in my hands.
The street was lit by a few streetlights, and the sounds of nocturnal creatures gave the night a much needed melody. Tranquility and serenity were abundant in the chilly atmosphere, and I wondered exactly why Ethan's mom was letting us out this late.
Ashton was playing with my hair.
"Well, the Winter Formal's coming up..." He said, a bit dazedly.
I heard Ethan groan.
I looked over at the guy. "Hey! The way you're into music, I thought you'd want to show off some moves."
He quit fiddling with his phone and gave me a 'really?' glare.
I looked over at Ashton and linked my fingers with his. "Hey, babe...I think we need to find our friend a date."
He glanced over at him. What's up with the bad blood?
He looked down at me and sighed. "Evelyn, I need to tell you something."
