I altered the ages so it fits

Jack is 13 at the beginning then grows
Andy is 14 then grows

{Jack Duff}
When I was young, I fell in love
We used to hold hands, man, that was enough

13 years young and in love.

People said it wasn't real but it was so different form High school love.

I was waking down the halls with Andy, hand in hand to our classes.

Then we grew up, started to touch
Used to kiss underneath the light on the back of the bus

"Andy stop," I said giggling as he kissed my neck softly.

16 and we were still in love.

"Why? I wanna give you attention," he whispered as he made his way up and kissed my softly until the bus jolted to a stop, causing me to fall on the floor and us to bust out in fits of laughter.

Oh no, your daddy didn't like me much
And he didn't believe me when I said you were the one

"I'll see you later yeah?" Andy asked as he softly rubbed my hip.

"Yeah," I replied softly as I leaned in and kissed him.

I heard someone clear their throat.

I let go of Andy.

"Hi, Mr. Duff," Andy said nervously.

"Andy, Jack come on it's getting late," My dad said.

"Alright, I'll see you soon alright?" I said as I kissed Andy quickly before getting inside and shutting the door.

"Jack, it's just teenage love, he won't be there for you forever," My dad said.

I looked down.

"You never know," I said.

My dad gave me a soft smile and walked away.

Seventeen and we got a dream to have a family
A house and everything in between

It was a year later and Andy and I were out laying on my roof looking up at the starts.

"When we get older, I want a family with you, I want to get married and have a house together," I said.

I heard Andy chuckle.

He turned and faced me.

"I do too love, I do too," Andy replied before kissing me softly.

And then, oh, suddenly we turned twenty-three
Now we got pressure for taking our life more seriously
We got our dead-end jobs and got bills to pay
Have old friends and know our enemies

"Jack, you'll be fine alright. Breathe and calm down," Andy said softly.

"I-I'm so sorry, I've just been s-so stressed," I replied.

"It's alright love," He replied kissing me on the lips softly again.

I nodded as I got back up in the chair and began to work on the music we were producing.

"We'll beat this shit alright, you'll be okay, we'll be okay," Andy said as he laced my fingers with his.

I smiled.

And baby, you know I just wanna leave tonight
We can go anywhere we want
Drive down to the coast, jump in the seat
Just take my hand and come with me
Singing

"Come on! It'll be fun. Stress relief," I said as I tried to pull him to the car and go out for a drive.

He giggled before putting his shoes on.

"You really agree with this?!" I exclaimed, excited.

He nodded his head yes laughing.

I squealed before grabbing the car keys.

Singing at the top of our lungs while driving down to the coast was one of my favorite memories.

Not only that but he proposed to me that night.

"A beautiful ring to suit a beautiful person," as Andy put it.

We can do anything if we put our minds to it
Take your whole life then you put a line through it
My love is yours if you're willing to take it
Give me your heart 'cause I ain't gonna break it
So come away, starting today
Start a new life, together in a different place
We know that love is how these ideas came to be
So baby, run away with me

"It's beautiful Andy, I can't believe we did it finally," I said as tears of joy ran down my cheek.

"We're finally together, forever," he said as he hugged me from behind and kissed behind My ear softly.

I was so happy, so so so happy that I was with the person I loved the most.

The love of my life, my best friend and my soon to be husband.

he used to meet me on the Eastside
In the city where the sun don't set
