You call me jealous, wrathful, even
vengeful, but if your husband
had fathered half the continent I daresay
you'd be just as angry.
His blood litters the human race. it's only fair
that some of it litter the ground, too,
divine rain. a favor from the gods. take it,
drink, and remember who she was
that gave you
this generous gift.
he claims to rule the sky. but
my strength runs thicker than air.
let the muses sing praises to my name.
