The roses bloomed behind Demeter, giving off a fragrance she hadn't smelt in a long time. It wasn't time for the roses to bloom, except for when Aphrodite was around. "This is surely unexpected, Aphrodite."
"I understand that you are trying to protect and save this earth."
"The earth is dying. Those humans are not doing much to help."
"I wish to take back this world."
Demeter turned around. "You sided with Zeus that we should surrender our control," she challenged. Aphrodite could understand her anger, they caused the world to go this way.
"And I was wrong," the love goddess admitted. "There is too much heartbreak in this world. There is too much destruction."
"How are you planning on doing this?"
"I'm visiting our dear family. The ones that haven't given up."
Demeter nodded. "I'll stand by your side."
