Bring Me Back To Life

It was a month since you and Louis called it quits, actually you dumped him after he cheated on you in a nightclub, it was a drunken mistake he made and he regretted every morsel of it. He was depressed, drinking alcohol to numb the heartbreak and hardly eating anything at all. Some of his friends stopped hanging around him as he became very miserable and a drag to their moods. It was a Friday night, Louis was yet again hitting the clubs to drink until he was almost blind drunk. As he got his clubbing jacket on you texted him. His friend informed you of what he was doing, and it really scared you... even though you weren't with him anymore, you still cared about him. Louis picks up his phone and rushes into his text messages, he sees he's got a text from you, his eyes lit up as he opened it. It read "Louis please stop doing this to yourself... I'll be around in half an hour..." Louis breathed out and replied with a simple "alright" he placed his phone back on the bedside table and took his shoes off. 

Half an hour passes and you knock on the door, Louis rushes over to it and answers it "come in darling" Louis softly says, you could tell he was holding back tears. You both walk into the bedroom where you turn and look at him "why have you been doing this Lou? seriously.. this isn't like you... look at this" you say as you point to the empty alcohol stash "and it's not like you to go out and party all night every night either..." Louis looks at you and wipes his eyes "are you crying?" you question, feeling bad. "I can't do this...." Louis shakily whispers as he walks around the room "can't do what exactly?" you question as you grab his arm, Louis sniffles "this..." Louis says as he throws his arms up in the air "without you, I have no purpose in life... you brought out the best in me and now I'm absolutely nothing" Louis says through tears as he sits on the bed and wipes his eyes "Lou stop this.. you're not nothing.. you know better than anyone, that you're an a pretty amazing person" "no Y/N.. stop lying.. I'm not amazing... I fucking cheated on you by mistake and you left me... how does that make me fucking amazing?" Louis yells as he stands up, you step back, "Louis stop yelling... please..." you softly say, Louis eyes soften then as he realised his outburst scared you, instead of saying anything he goes and lies on the bed and begins to sob. You place your bag on the ground and go over to him "Louis please" you say as you remove the pillow from his face, "I'm sorry Y/N... so f-fucking sorry... I didn't mean t-to hurt you the way I did... I n-never wanted you to leave, I never wanted to have you out of m-my life..." Louis cries, you feel tears burn in your own eyes. You climb into bed and wrap him into your chest.

Louis holds onto you tightly, you feel his tears seep through your fabric shirt. You run your fingers through his hair, contemplating whether or not to begin your relationship with him again. Louis's body shakes from crying so hard, this was a site you never saw while you were with him, you only ever saw him cry once, and it was never this bad. "Louis don't cry anymore...." you comfortingly say as you kiss his head. Louis looks up at you then and you wipe his tears "I need you Y/N.... please come back..." Louis softly whispered. You kiss his forehead "alright, we can try again... but you need to promise me that you'll never... and I mean never do what you did again... this is your last chance Louis... I mean it" you say in a serious tone, Louis sniffled again but his eyes lit up, Louis peppers your face with soft kisses before looking at you in the eyes "I'll never do that again darling, never... ever... ever" Louis says as he kisses down your jaw. You grab the sides of his face and press a long kiss to his lips "bet you missed that?" You say with a half smile, "you have no idea darling... I missed you so much" Louis says as he kisses your lips again. "how about you stay in with me tonight?" "perfect plan.." Louis says as he entangles his fingers through your hair. 

After you two started your relationship again, Louis became that bubbly, positive person that he once was. He talked more, ate food a lot more, hardly partied and became more protective over you, which didn't bother you in the slightest. Louis never cheated on you again, and remained that loyal and devoted boyfriend he once was. Louis was not losing you again and made sure to tell you everyday just how much you meant to him and how much he loved you. You brought Louis back to life, which was one of the greatest things you could ever do.
