My eyes fluttered open.
Warm, golden rays of sunlight seeped through the small cracks of the ceiling.
The room was a cozy warm.
Birds were chirping now, and squirrels could be seen running through the trees.
The room was amber coloured.
I felt so warm and comfy at the moment.

That all changed when a dark shadow was cast over me, making it chilly in an instant, snatching that warmth I had.
My eyes travelled upwards and I froze.
My heart had stopped beating.
My breathing was rigid.
My nails digging into my palms.
A chill wavered through my whole body.
Every single cell in me feeling the shock.

The snake.

It was humongous.

At least 13 meters or more...
Scaly and shiny skin the colour of emerald.
The scales glistening in the sunlight like the gemstone itself.

It stayed still, eyes the colour of a roaring fire burning holes in me.
So intense and graceful.
But it didn't feel right, I got a weird and creepy vibe from the snake.
Though it's features were breathtaking, the creature was definitely creeping me out.
It just watched me.
Shivers ran through my whole body.
It made me feel trapped and scared.
It gave off a sinister aura.
A huge monster lingering above me...

Get out Mina.

Carefully and slowly, I lifted my tired body.
Every inch if me was shaking.
My heart was beating rapidly.

It's watching my every move...

Shutting my eyes tightly, I tried to avoid the snake, but it had a way of boring a hole through me. Though I couldn't see it at the moment, I felt it's evil presence all around me, sending chills downs my body.

Quickly, I ran out of that room, not sparing the snake a single glance.

The rooms outside were cozy and toasty.
The Sunshine seeped through the fogged windows.
It looked so old, dust particles floating in the air, but it also felt so welcoming.

Well, I'll definitely be un-welcoming myself from here.

As I walked around the mansion, I finally spotted the door, after at least 20 minutes if walking.
My hand gripped the warm handle, but something else held me back...

JIMIN.

I let go of the handle, even though I wanted to run out of here so bad and never come back again, I decided to look for him.
The whole house was empty and quiet.

My legs kept on walking for 15 more minutes, until I heard a faint tune.

It was barely audible, but even then, it was beautiful.
The sound became a bit louder.

That voice sounds pretty familiar...
Who can it be- Jimin!

I followed the sound, it took me to the long staircase.
I gulped, remembering that person behind me yesterday at the stairs.
Hesitantly, I took a step, flinching when it creaked loudly.

Okay, stepping slowly isn't gonna work, just tiptoe up quickly.

I ran up on my tip toes, this way, avoiding the sound the stairs created.
Finally, I reached the top floor.
My jaw dropped.
It was beautiful.
Just like that room, the ceiling was made up of glass hexagons, vines and leaves also covering it, but not as bad as the room downstairs.
The floor was made up of polished wood.
There were plants everywhere.
Something fluttered past me.

"Squawk!" A beautiful macaw sat on the railings.
It's head tilting to get a better look at me.
Then, it flew through an opening in the ceiling.
I noticed there were many small and big parrots scattering the place.
It felt so exotic...but don't get fooled.

The singing was getting louder.

"Lie~"

I followed the voice.
It led me to a large oak door.
Hesitantly, I placed my hands in the knob and turned it ever so gently and slightly.
Peeking inside, I saw Jimin sitting there, draped in all white, in an all white room.
No one else was there.
Opening the door a bit wider, I inspected the ceiling and walls.
No cameras.

Quietly, I made my way in, closing the door behind me.

"Jimin...?" Hesitation coated my voice.

He looked over at me and shot me a perfect smile, his eyes getting small in the process.
They twinkled like gem stones.

"Caught in a lie~"

He sang in an enchanting voice.

"Jimin, stop singing. Let's get out of here," I said impatiently.

He looked over at me.

"Smooth like a like a snake, don't be like a prey..."
"Caught in a lie~"

His voice was sinister, everything about him was.

Everything turned dark.
Then a dim light brought its way in.
Something slithered over my feet, causing me to flinch.

I looked up to see that the bed sheets were torn up, the walls were made of plain cement, and Jimin- he was sitting chained up on the bed, breathing hard.

"Jimin?" I walked up to him, scared of what just happened.

"Help..." his eyes met mine, and I looked away immediately.

Blood coated every inch of his face.

"W-who did this to you? You were fine just a moment ago..." my breath was shaky.

"It all was an illusion Mina. Get me out of here, please..."

I walked over to the bed, examining the chains.
I took a hair pin out of my hair and successfully unlocked the chain cuffs.

Suddenly, he grabbed my wrist tightly, pulling me towards him.

"What a-are you doing!?" I stuttered.

A flicker of fiery orange passed over his eyes, as he licked his lips hungrily.

"Deception is the key to catching prey."
