The next day I woke up and heard Astrid puking again. I got out of the bed and got my
Armor on then walked to the bathroom and decided to hold her hair back for her. After she washed her hands and brushed her teeth she kissed me and said,
"Thanks Hiccup. " I kissed her cheek and replied,
"Astrid, milady, it is an honor. " She laughed and we walked to the kitchen hand in hand to eat. I finished the food first. And right after mom called me,
"Hiccup, I need to talk with you. In the living room please. "
I got up nervously and followed her into the living room where I sat down.
"Hiccup I need to inform you things on pregnancy. " She said. That got me more nervous.
"O...Ok." I said.
"Basically when she gets more pregnant, she's going to get mood swings. Have you ever experienced Astrid on her period?" She said.
I was only getting more nervous.
"Yes. Why?"
"It's like that but 10x worse. " She replied.
"Oh dang. " I said.
"Also later in her pregnancy she's going to get really weird food cravings."
Oh great. This is all I need.
"I think that's all I need to warn you about but if I did forget something I will tell you later. " She finished.
"Ok. " I replied and got up and walked to the kitchen where Astrid was sitting.
"Hiccup. I made up my mind. I want to have a house built. Alright?"
"Alright. Here's the plan, as I and some of the adults build the house, you stay here and the gang will keep you company. I don't want you going outside a lot, if you do then the entire gang is going to come with you. I'm worried for your safety."
She kissed my cheek and said,
"I love you so much Hiccup Your going to be the best dad there is. I know it. "
"I love you too Astrid. " I replied.
And with that I left to go get started on our house.
