"Austin, please," I cried. I held onto his suitcase, hoping to change his mind somehow.
"Hanna, I never realized how selfish you are until now. This is my future that you're talking about. How many times have you seen me dream of this?"
He snatched his suitcase back forcefully, but not hurting me. Maybe I was selfish and insane, but I'd do anything not to lose my best friend.
Alex walked into the room, he stopped at the doorway when he saw the tears streaming down both of our faces.
"Alex lets go," Austin rolled his suitcase leaving the room alone with only me with Alex at the doorway. I looked into his eyes and I knew he was disappointed with me.
"Hanna, be happy for him," he walked towards me welcoming me a hug that I had rejected.
"Take him now or he'll be late," I replied while I turned my back towards him.
Nothing will be the same without Austin, he'll change and become a whole different person. That's what Hollywood does, that's what it did to my dad.
