Usually, everyone would have been talking excitedly about the new relic, but we all just sat there. Staring at nothing.

Of course, Miko was still here.

"Wait, Megs, how did you know about Cliff?" Miko tilted her head in question.
"You expected Starscream not to brag?" He frowned. "And watch your tongue, or I'll cut it out." Miko smirked and giggled but Jack stepped forward defensively,  after Raf shivered.

"Ratchet, please open a groundbridge." Predaking said blankly.

"Where are you going?" Ratchet asked confusion placed in his words.
"For a flight." Ratchet just shrugged.
"Where?" He asked as he began to make coordinates.
"Anywhere secluded." He ordered as he stood up.

The bridge opened and Predaking started to walk through.
"Scales, accompany me." His tone made me Warble in concern, as he usually would ask kindly instead of an order. He finally disappeared in the spinning colours and I jumped down before transforming larger.

"Uh oh," Knockout joked from his birth. "Someone's in trouble." I blew smoke in his face from my nostrils before approaching the portal.

"Scales," Ratchet turned from the groundbridge console. "Be careful, he's not acting himself." I frowned.
"I will." Even if he couldn't understand me, I'm sure he got the message.

I watched as the signal moved from one side of the world to another. Great. The autobots have a groundbridge. The prisoners failed to mention that. No matter, I'll remember that the next time I visit them.

Considering that the nemesis is quite advanced, we were able to breach the younger predacon's signal. But only when they left the base. Although one of the prisoners know of the location of the base, Starscream. He was cowardly enough to give up every knowledge that the cortical phsycic patch failed to produce. We had one area of a base worthy of looking, but all we found was rubble.

Megatron survived my influence. But I will make him pay for his treachery.

"My Lord, you summoned me?" The thin tall Predacon stood in front of me, bowing slightly. His loyalty does surprise me.

All he wanted was to create a might large enough to kill the older predacon, the arrogant name he took of Predaking. I did not care of his past, although he released me from the prison of the allsparks chamber. So we struck a deal, he frees me and he will be spared and given the pleasure of killing Predaking.

"Icarus, the child has appeared. If you want your part of the deal, I would recommend retrieving her immediately."

"May I ask why?" He asked, not daring to meet my eyes.

"Is she not the daughter of your nemesis?"

He smirked, "Thank you kindly my Lord." He turned, ready to assemble a groundbridge.

"Take the other two with you." I ordered. He stopped suddenly and turned to me. "B-but my Lord, Darksteel and Skylynx are nothing but children and hold no flight experience. How can they possibly-"

"You DARE defy my order!? May I remind you," I started to stalk towards him, he started to cower backwards. "That I enslaved millions, including the warlord of which ordered the death of your kin. I can destroy you with the flick of my finger and yet you Dare defy MY REIGN?!"

He nodded quickly and stammered. "Y-y-yes! Of course how f-foolish of me! I shall get them immediately,  Lord Unicron!" He turned and practically ran towards the door.

This planet shall be ripped apart first to behold my slumbering corpse. I will return to my former glory.

Cybertron is next.

We had been flying over a forest for ages now. Not a word had escaped either of us. It was a cold rainy night as we flew, but quiet.

A city's great lights flickered in the distance, and I even heard the busy beeping of cars and such from here. Tall buildings scratched through the clouds as the sky thundered in pain, and lightning flickered at the very tops of them. That was what Predaking gazed at with sad, dark yellow optics.

He thought of home. But I would only find that out until it was too late.

"I wanted to apologise, for not being there as you grew." Predaking said over his shoulder.

"I'm sorry for the deep sadness I have caused for not being there with you." I warbled back to him. He chuckled in a low growl. And this is the last I heard of his happiness.

"So much like your mother."

The net flew up from below and wrapped around my wings. Making me fall.

The sky spun around me as I roared in pain. The net shot electricity through my frame. I shook with anger as I scratched and bit at the metal wires.

I heard Predaking roaring after me, cursing and reassuring me. But I fell so fast as I spun at an unstoppable pace. The floor and sky merged to one as the roar of wind beat at my wings.

Down was up, up was down as there was no recognition to the sky I flew through with ease just moments before.

Then, a great force hit me in my side and a great pain shot through my left wing. I opened my optics, with no memory of closing them, to find my vision blurry and slow. The grass of the ground tickled my cheek, with the hopes of making me smile but I could do nothing but growl and groan in pain.

My eyes began to close, much to my hatred as the electricity coursing through me began to burn my eyes.

And just like they say in the books, my world went black.
