"20,000 dollars short, hyung. . ."Jin lulled his head back with a sigh. Feeling the amount of both irritation and exhaustion within his being as he struck the gun he held, across the man's face. The same man who sat there before him. His hands tied behind the chair he sat in and forehead littered with sweat.

"You think just because he's not here, I'm supposed to let you off?" In a laugh, Jin couldn't help but shake his head. Knowing that others didn't see him nowhere near as intimidating as they did Yoongi himself. Yet the man wasn't around. And Jin was trying his hardest to keep everything afloat.

"Who the fuck do you think I am? Huh—"

"Jin—" And just like that, a bullet was placed through the man's foot. Causing an immediate groan of agony to slip off the man's lips as Jin watched the way his eyes glistened with further tears. Yet Jin loved it. Loved to watch the way one begged. Begged for their life that would be gone before they could even save it.

But Jin preferred to take things slow. Wanting to have the man right at the tip of his fingers before allowing himself to kill him. Because the adrenaline was addictive. So, so addictive.

"You know how disappointed Yoongi would be to hear that one of his best clients came up short. . ." He couldn't help but tilt his head with a smile. Knowing just how much the younger despised being toyed with. Especially when it came to making him look stupid.

And it was then that Ming appeared. Her eyes bloodshot and body clad in one of Yoongi's dress shirts, all while catching Jin's startled gaze before pushing him out of the way. Having instantly taken the gun lying within his hand, only to point it right at the man who knew. Knew she was Yoongi's.

"N-n-no! Please—" But the trigger was already pulled. Was pulled and was done so casually. As if the act was something completely normal. Because Ming didn't care. Didn't care at all.

"Ming." He never thought one could look so lifeless. Holding nothing but pain within their expression as he watched the way she met his eyes. His eyes that could see all that grief. Grief and heartache that he wished he could take away from her. Even if he knew. Knew the girl was trying to cope. Cope with her feelings. Cope with the fact that the man she loves isn't there for her right now.

"Ming." And she listened to him call her name all over again. The lump in his throat too apparent not to hear. Because he didn't want to upset her furthermore. Or be the cause of more tears.

So instead, he let himself take hold of her wrist. Pulling the girl ever so softly into his chest as she stiffened underneath his tonuch. Unable to stop herself from enduring upon the man's warmth, even if it wasn't Yoongi's.

"Soon." His voice was nothing more than a whisper. Relaying a message that had her eyes so filled with tears as she tugged at the front of his shirt. Allowing herself to finally feel. Feel those emotions she had been trying to suppress for so long. Too long.

"I promise, Ming." But she knew. Knew that not all promises. . . can be kept.
