[E L A I N A  H O P E]

daniel and i are going to a dinner tonight at corbyn's house. he said that he and christina have something to tell us, and they need everyone there to announce it. even david is coming. i'm betting that she's pregnant.

"babe, you ready?" daniel asked, poking his head into the bathroom as i was just finishing braiding my hair.

"yeah." i replied, walking out of the bathroom and grabbing my purse. "let's go!" i yelled, wanting to see jack and zach since i hadn't seen them in about a week.

daniel laughed as i ran to the front door like a child who was excited to go their best friend's birthday party.

"hurry up slow poke!" i yelled down the hallway as daniel was locking the door.

i ran to the elevator and pressed the button and waited for the elevator to show up. i looked back at daniel who was walking towards me with a huge smile on his face. there it was again: the look he gave me like i was the only thing in the world.

"stop looking at me like that!" i said, playfully smacking him on the chest.

"like what?" he questioned quietly, looking into my eyes.

"remember when i stopped you a couple of years ago when we were in paris and anna had just left our hotel room after apologizing to us? remember what i asked you?"

"you asked me why i was looking at you like you were the only thing in the world." he paused, brushing the hair out of my face. the elevator opened, but we didn't go in. "i told you it was because you are the only thing in the world that i need."

he pressed my lips against his, and i smiled through the kiss.

"not now, daniel. we have to go to dinner." i whispered, pulling away from the kiss and re-pressing the down button on the elevator.

"fuck." he mumbled, annoyed. he quickly pecked my lips before walking into the elevator.

i giggled and followed him inside.

"so what do you think corbyn and christina have to tell us?" daniel asked, pressing the lobby button.

"i'll bet you forty bucks she's pregnant." i snickered.

"deal." daniel said, shaking my hand. "i bet he's taking her on tour."

oh fuck. they're going on tour. i totally forgot about that.

"when's tour?" i asked, stepping out of the elevator as the doors opened.

"it's in a month." daniel replied. "obviously, you're going to come with us."

i smiled in relief, knowing i couldn't be away from daniel for a long amount of time.

we went into the parking garage, and started our drive towards corbyn and christina's house.

~

i quietly snuck through the front door, trying to draw the least amount of attention towards myself. i walked slowly towards their living room, and in the couch sat jack and zach, along with corbyn and jonah.

i snuck up behind them, and yelled, "THERE'S A CHICKEN IN YOUR SANDWICH!"

both of them shot up off of the couch and i started laughing my ass off. i clutched my stomach as i fell to the floor from laughing so hard.

"haha, very funny." zach joked, helping me up from the floor.

"there's a chicken in your sandwich?" jack questioned, and i laughed once again.

"what? no one wants to see a love chicken in their sandwich, do they?" i asked. they both thought about it for a moment, then realized it would be pretty damn smart if there was a live fucking chicken in their sandwich.

"good point." zach said, intrigued.

i giggled and went upstairs to find christina. i found her in their bedroom reading s book.

"hey christina!" i said, sitting down next to her on the bed and giving her a hug.

"hey elaina, how are you?" she asked, putting her book down. she was reading 'room' by emma donoghue.

"i'm doing great, you?"

"swell." she said cheerfully.

i heard the door knock from downstairs and christina said, "our postmates is here!"

"so you gathered all of us here for dinner when you just got postmates?" i asked sarcastically, and she giggled.

"corbyn and i can't cook for our lives. plus, you already know that we have big news and we needed to gather everyone here." she explained, and i nodded.

we went downstairs to find dinner on the table and all the guys already eating.

"you didn't think to wait for us?" i asked, sitting down next to daniel.

"nope." jack replied, with a mouth full of food.

"mr. avery! you never speak with a mouth full of food." christina corrected.

"sorry mom." jack laughed, continuing to eat his dinner.

i saw corbyn look at christina and they nodded at each other, probably signaling that they were going to say what they wanted to tell everyone.

"okay guys, so as you all know we gathered you all here today to tell you some big news." corbyn started.

everyone looked at him, waiting for him to say it since we were all filled with suspense.

"i'm pregnant!" christina said excitedly.

"I KNEW IT!" i yelled. "DANIEL, YOU OWE ME FORTY BUCKS!"

"you bet on us?" chrustina laughed.

"it happened on the elevator when we were leaving to come here." i shrugged.

everyone was giving their congratulations to the happy couple, and i couldn't help but think that one day, that's going to be daniel and i. we're going to be happily married and having kids of our own. i couldn't help but smile at the thought.

one day, i'm going to be married to daniel james seavey.
