Erikas POV-
When Jake said that he liked me, i didn't know what to think of it. Over the past few weeks or so, we've been 'hanging out' a lot and just chilling together. I don't think I love Jake, but there definitely is some special connection we have. Something making us feel like more than friends but less than a couple.
I stay quiet for a while until i decide that on what i want to tell him.
E: Jake, I... I like you too.
Jake looks up in confusion
E: There is definitely something between us, but i don't quite think it's 'love'
J: Woah, woah.. Slow your roll Rik. I don't think 'love' is the right word either. I just feel like i have some feelings for you.
E: Okay, well i have feelings for you.
J: So what are we going to do about it?
E: Hang out *smirks*
J: *smiles back and goes in for a kiss*
Then Jake gets a text on his phone.
E: You gonna get that *in between each kiss*
J: No. I'm a little busy *smirks*
Jakes phone gets another text, and another, then another. He pulls away and reads a couple of the text.
Jakes Pov-
When i read the text my heart fell and i almost cried.
E: Who is it?
J: ...
E: What's wrong babe?
J: Those messages that came in..
E: Yeah?
J: They were from-
