After that, Castiel heads across to the confectionary, lined wall to wall in different sweets. There are dispensers with M and Ms and jelly beans with what has to be at least twenty different colors of each. There's also an assortment of different baked goods, and you can even watch people frost some of the candy apples to look like the Disney characters. He makes a mental note to drag Gabriel over here. He'd have a field day in here.

Castiel turns back and starts going the way he came.  He passes through the middle of the castle, taking a few moments to admire the mosaics that line the walls. It's beautiful here, now that he's really looking.

He makes his way back to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train just as the rest of his family is leaving it. When Lucifer sees him, he runs over, his vlogging camera swinging back and forth from around his neck carelessly.

"This is the cutest thing I've ever seen," he gushes. "She's a wittle princess!"

Castiel chuckles. "I thought you'd like it."

"Like it? This is the best thing ever!"

Dean breaks up his conversation with Sam and Gabriel when he sees his boyfriend. Castiel hands Alex back to Lucifer, so he can find Claire and Castiel can stay with Dean. Traveling in large groups like this is a lot more difficult that it would seem, but they have an unspoken system going on.

"How was it?" Castiel asks his boyfriend, mostly just to make conversation. He wouldn't ride the thing no matter how good Dean says it is.

Dean just shrugs. "Not bad. I'm sure it would have been better if I had ever actually seen the movie, but it's Disney World. I can't complain about Disney World." He gestures to Lucifer with his head, not for Lucifer's sake but to point out Alex. "Did I see a crown?"

"You did," Castiel replies. "I thought it was cute, so I bought it, and now my niece is a princess."

"Would that make you a prince?" Dean asks. "I don't actually know how royal families work but that sounds accurate, right?"

Castiel shrugs. "I don't know. Probably. Ask someone from England. They actually have a royal family."

"I think we should just make you a prince anyway," Dean tells him. "Let's go get you a crown, too."

Castiel laughs. "Its a tiara, Dean. It's for girls."

"What's your point?" Dean asks. "I'm sure I could find a hundred different pictures of you wearing girl clothes for some reason or other."

"Ah, yeah, true," Castiel admits. "And actually, I took a picture in one of the tiaras already, so we can add that to the collection when I post it on Instagram next time we have a down moment."

"Do you have a witty caption for it?" Dean asks.

"Nah, but my tiara is fancy enough that no one will care," Castiel replies with a shrug.

"Then can you send it to me so I can post it instead?" Dean asks excitedly.

Castiel eyes him suspiciously. "Why?"

"Oh, no reason," Dean says in a way that shows there is a reason, and one Castiel probably won't like.

Castiel agrees to it anyway. He'll regret it later, he's sure, but he's curious what Dean is going to do with it, so he tells the boy he'll send it next time they wait in line for something or sit down for refreshments. He's actually not sure what they're doing right now, so he asks Dean. He always seems to know.

Apparently not this time, though, because he says, "Wherever the leader of the pack decides to go, I guess. Those were all our plans for the day. Anything else is fair game."

Castiel nods in understanding. "Are we still gonna watch the fireworks, at least?"

"Of course we are," Dean says with way too much enthusiasm for someone who doesn't actually want to watch the fireworks. "We can go stake out a spot in a few hours. Ooh, and there are 'extra magic hours' tonight so the park is open even later for resort guests like us, so we can hang around for a while afterwards."

Castiel knows Dean couldn't care less about the fireworks and would rather do just about anything instead of sit there for an hour before they start. He knows Dean's figured out that any ride he wants to ride, Castiel will probably hate it, and staying late won't make much of a difference.

He still seems excited for their evening plans, though, despite them being the opposite of what Dean would call a good time. Castiel isn't sure if it's because he's excited for them to have some alone time together or if he's just trying to hype Castiel up so he enjoys this trip more, but either way, it's adorable.

Castiel takes his hand, smiling up at him. "This is why you're the best."

"I know," Dean replies with a grin.

They end up going to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, but because Castiel has already been on it and didn't like the drop, he opts out, so Dean stays with him to keep him company. Fortunately, Alex can ride this one with the family, so they don't have to worry about her, and it's just the two of them.

They wait in the gift shop where the ride exits, but they already know that this is going to take a while, and they'll probably get bored and decide to go off on their own before everyone gets off the ride.

"Hey, you should send me the crown picture while we're waiting," Dean tells him.

"'Kay." Castiel pulls out his phone to text it to him, then scrolls through Twitter while he waits for Dean to post it.

Most of the people he's following are at Disney with him, which makes his feed a lot calmer than usual. He does see a tweet from Jack Kline about a new music video, though, and while he's still a new artist and definitely wouldn't have the budget to put together something really amazing, Castiel still makes a mental note to watch it later.

He scrolls through the replies to that tweet, and while most of them are full of the trolls from stan twitter being assholes, none of them say there's anything problematic about the video — unless saying that other artists outsold is problematic — so Castiel thinks it's safe to say that it's an okay video and leaves a like on that tweet. He knows people scroll through his the tweets he's liked, so maybe he'll get some of his fans to check it out.

When he sees the notification that Dean posted on Instagram, he switches apps to find the picture of him in the tiara with the caption, "Meet the newest (and gayest) Disney princess to date. Hey @Disney, I think I found your next hit movie."

Castiel chuckles and leaves a like on the picture before commenting, "Idk man I'm like 98% sure Elsa from Frozen is gay too."

Dean must have been looking at the comments, because he finds Castiel's quickly and replies, "True story, the song Let It Go was actually about letting go of society's heteronormativity and embracing the rainbow."

Castiel laughs and replies, "Headcanon accepted."

Dean cocks his head in confusion. "The fuck does headcanon mean?"

"No swearing in Disney," Castiel scolds him.

"I'll swear wherever the fuck I want to swear," Dean says with a teasing smile.

"God, you're so inappropriate," Castiel says, shaking his head playfully. "You better stay away from Alex before she starts acting like you."

"She'd be a goddamn miracle child," Dean says with a grin.

"More like a nightmare," Castiel jokes.

"Wow, Cas, rude," Dean says, but he's still smiling, so he obviously doesn't mean it.

"How did this conversation even start?" Castiel asks.

"You were going to explain what a headcanon was and then apparently decided not to because you'd rather talk about babies," Dean reminds him.

"Oh yeah! But basically a headcanon is something that you don't know is true in a movie or tv show or book or something but it might be true so you just assume it's true."

"Then this isn't a headcanon," Dean tells him. "It's a canon canon. That's exactly what that song was about, and that's just a fact."

Castiel chuckles. "Sure it is, Dean. Sure it is."
