Suddenly, a bright light flashes, and Castiel barely processes that it's a photo before the cart is suddenly in "space." It's dark enough that he can see the "stars" on the wall, bring the space inside Space Mountain to life, but light enough that he can still see the tracks just above him. The first time they fly under one, he yelps, ducking his head, but he soon realizes that if they were going to hit him, they would have decapitated Sam first.
Somehow, Dean has the courage to ride it with his hands up, though they're barely above the top of his head, probably because he noticed the tracks as well. Every time there's a drop or a lurch that causes Castiel to yelp, Dean laughs, and Castiel almost wants to smack him, but he's too afraid to move.
Finally, the ride is over, and they all step out of their cart at a new location, where they find an array of six screens waiting for them, each one with a different picture of it. Dean starts laughing the moment he sees theirs.
"Cas, you look like you're expecting to die in a minute," he says.
"Funny, 'cause that's exactly how I was feeling," Castiel deadpans.
Dean taps his Magic Band park ticket against the scanner to save the picture, and Sam does it to theirs.
"This isn't fair," Samandriel complains. "I was supposed to be in the picture with Adam! Now I'm just stuck with these two losers."
"And we made the picture so much better," Gabriel adds, sticking his tongue out at him. "Is everyone still here with their heads attached?"
"What?" Adam laughs.
"Well, Sam almost got scalped a few times, so I wanna make sure all our tall humans are still alive."
"So, everyone but you," Sam adds teasingly.
"Wow, Sam, that was rude and uncalled for," Gabriel tells him. "I never make fun of your height."
"But you do," Sam reminds him. "All the time."
Gabriel waves a hand dismissively. "Ah, whatever. Technicalities."
They find Lucifer where they left him. He's bouncing slightly for Alex's sake as he talks to a couple of girls who probably just left college for the year. Castiel is almost hesitant to go talk to them, because he's sure they recognized Lucifer, and if they recognized Lucifer, they'll probably recognize him, too, and Castiel kind of just wants to ride things in piece. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have much of a choice.
"Ooh, hey, it's my humans!" Lucifer says, interrupting whatever he had been saying to the girls. "Do you guys know my humans?" He introduces them anyway, because even if they know Lucifer, Castiel, and Dean, very few people knows who Gabriel, Sam, Adam, and Samandriel are.
"Oh my god," one of the girls breathes, staring at Castiel like he's a god. He probably is, in their minds.
"Hi," Castiel says, giving them his typical small, kind smile that he gives to all his fans in hopes that it won't freak them out enough that they start crying. It doesn't always work.
"Can — can we get a picture?" one of the other girls stammers.
"Sure." He wishes they wouldn't, because it typically draws more attention to him, but maybe he'll make it through this quickly, before anyone notices.
"So, how was the ride?" Lucifer asks as Castiel is dragged into a picture.
"Well," Gabriel begins before anyone else can, "It took a lot of walking to get to the actual line, so that was way too much exercise, and then the ride was kinda cramped, and Sam almost got decapitated."
