The kids made the room into a mess, there's silly string all over the place chip and cookie container bags and lots of candy wrappers, looking at the kids who seem as though they didn't hear use come in probably because the TV the music from the stereo was on full blast.
"What is going on in here!" I exclaimed which makes the kids freeze then turn around very slowly as though if they didn't move to fast I wouldn't be able to see them if they don't move too fast. "Well! Explain!"
"It's okay Hope its just a mess," Hunter says calmly, before getting a phone call. Looking at his phone his face pales and holds up his finger indicating to give him a minute.
"Explain, now." I say as slow as they had turned the music done and turned around to face me completely.
The twins bow their heads Luke has his eyes wide as two dinner plates. "Sorry, mum," was all the kids said before sitting on the couch in the corner knowing what's coming next.
It called a lecture. The kids nodded and agreed with me but I don't even think they were even listening to me, Luke look almost scared when I started to explain things about what happened to your body with to much sugar in it or how they should start cleaning up themselves instead of the maid. Owen would look at me but give Luke a quick glance probably upset that Luke knows how I yell at them, probably embarrassed that his mum is yelling bloody hell at him in front of his new friend. Iris being Iris tried to reason with me about their punishment when we got into my car and told them what it was after I told them to tell Hunter and Luke goodbye when he got off the phone. Owen was quiet for the rest of the ride home and Iris was grumpy and mumbling.
"Please mum at least let us have a few more hours before at least," Iris whined for the tenth time while walking into the house. Owen had fallen a sleep so I carried him inside the house and placed him on the couch. Turning around to look at Iris with pursed lips and wide eyes that means 'if you do not stop right now' which she realized and huffed sitting on the couch bedside Owen and turned the TV on.
"Nope," I say snatching the remote from her and turning it off, Iris looks about to complain but stops when I give her the look again.
You may wonder what's the big deal if they had one to many sweets, and went in a sugar high. Probably because Iris knows that she can't have sweets that have something she is allergic to in it. She is almost allergic to everything like seafood, peanuts, chocolate, a certain type of beans I forgot the name of but if I saw it I would know what it is, moth balls (no that is not something they can eat), oranges, and pineapple which is a lot for just her Owen doesn't have any except one that he shares with his sister which is pineapple.
Their punishment was that they couldn't watch TV, play with Luke (since they really seem to like him), extra morning workouts, and only healthy foods for a week.
"Okay time for bed then be up and ready at six so you can do some warm-ups before school."
Iris whines, but none the less stands up and walks to her bedroom upstairs where I can hear her door shut. I pick Owen up and carry him to his room quickly undressing him and putting on his pj's I tuck him into bed. It's only around eight but that is apart of their punishment- early bed times.
Walking out of his room to walk towards mine I close the door behind me walking into my closet to take of my wig and put it on the mannequin head on my vanity. I walk through the door that leads into my bathroom and turn the shower on high, stripping out of my clothes I throw them in the basket that's in the corner, and step in the shower. I clean myself with one of those fluffy sponges and use my favorite lavender scented shampoo and conditioner. I rinse everything out and turn off the water before wrapping my hair in a towel and my body.
About to go into my closet I hear the door bell which echo's all throughout the house which is why I can hear it from inside my bathroom.
Not bothering to put clothes on first I wrap the towel closer to my body and walk out of my room and to the front door. It's most like is Mark since he has taco with him when he went to see Xavier.
Not looking through the peak hole, I open the door to only be in shock that Hunter is actually the one behind the door with Luke standing next to him with a book bag on his back. Only Hunter looking at my stunned with a slight blush to his cheeks when I cleared my throat after noticing him looking at my long, tanned bare legs...again.
"Oh um sorry I-I just needed you to watch Luke for tonight, he can't be at the house tonight," I nod my head.
"Okay," I shrugged not really a big deal.
"Really? Just 'okay'? Your not going to ask me a million questions?" I nod slowly. "Why?"
"Because it's not any of my business what you do or do I care what you do so yeah."
"Okay well Luke you be good for Hope I'll pick you up from school," Hunter says walking to his car backwards, before waving then gets into his car speeding off into the night
"Can I know what happened now?" Luke asks once I let him in.
"How about I tell you in the morning while me and the kids work out," he nods I agreement.
"Can I go play with Owen and Iris?" He gets excited
"No their on punishment." His happiness fades as fast as it came.
"Well can I have something to eat?" I nod.
"Just let me put some clothes on first you can sit on my bed and wait, okay?" He nods and holds my hand as I guide him to my room.
He jumps on my bed and makes himself comfortable and plays a game on the tablet I handed him. I walk into my closet grabbing some black shorts that don't reach mid thigh so there almost like booty shorts but still cover me in appropriate areas with a tank top that that has the brand name PINK across it. Putting my hair into a messy bun I walk out the closet to notice Luke fast asleep.
