Hiccup POV
as i run after Toothless, i see him guarding a girl. i yell Toothless again. the girl turns around and i see who it is.
it was Astrid but wasn't she dead. i can't help but be dazzled by her deep ocean blue eyes. as she looks at me her eyes widen and she runs in the other direction, Toothless runs after her and so do i. i jump over a log and run after her.
"Astrid wait!" i yell as i stumble over a rock.
Astrid POV
when i see Hiccup, all these emotions gather up inside me. i wanna run to him and hug him but instead i run.
"Astrid wait!" i hear him yell. i can hear him fall. don't go back for him. a voice inside me says. but i don't listen i go back and help him up.
the minute my hands touch his i feel electricity run everywhere. "Astrid" he says softly. but before he can keep speaking a knife almost hits me.
were both standimg up now. without thinking i keep running. "Astrid please wait!" he yells as he runs after me. "No please leave me alone!" i yell as tears start to rise up, but i hold them back.
when he finally catches up to me were alone in secluded part in the woods. i back up and as i do i feel that i'm up against a tree. "please go" i say looking into his emerald eyes.
"Please" i plead. he walks closer to me so now that were only inches apart. "Astrid" he says as he touches my cheek. "Please just go you'll get hurt" i say as my hands touch the back of the tree.
and what he does makes me feel a little better. he hugs me, and for the first time in so long i hug back.
