"But really Hope what was that I thought we all had just become friends?" Ryan says shaking his head at me while Owen and I laugh.
"Mum really, you interrupted my beauty sleep," Iris says coming from around the corner were her and Owens room is.
"Well excuse me then your highness," I say sarcastically crossing my arms as she puts her hands on her hips.
"I see she doesn't just act like that with me," Daniel says yawning before coming up behind me and trying to tickle me.
"You know I'm not ticklish anymore, right?" I cross my arms.
"Wow you are just different," he sighs. "Okay, let's get you kids ready for school then you ready," Daniel try's to hype them up.
"No," says Owen but Iris jumps up and down saying 'yes'.
"Well let's go and mum will make you breakfast," Daniel says taking their hands and leading them back to their bedrooms.
"Aww well wasn't that sweet but let's discuss what the hell that sound was?!?" Tyler says still confused.
"Just something to get you guys up and out of bed quickly," I look smug.
"Well, it worked," Hunter says leaning on the wall next to his room door while wiping at his eyes to get the sleep out.
Ring Ring Ring
Someone's phone rings which happen to be Hunters as he looks at his screen then he answers the phone. He only says thanks after listening for a few seconds before hanging up.
"A tow truck and Hank is outside waiting for us," I nod my head and the twins walk back into their rooms probably to get their things.
"Thanks for letting us stay the night," he says.
"No problem, so maybe we can finish the project at your place or school, either way, works," I say shyly keeping nerd act up.
"Yeah sure we can, I'll go get my stuff now," I nod my head and he goes into the bedroom.
I sigh before remembering I need to cook my kids breakfast so I quickly get downstairs and start making bacon and pancakes. No time to make them from scratch so I use the instant pancake mix and microwave bacon.
I add some strawberries and whip cream to make it look and taste better the kids came running down along with a dressed Daniel and three bad boys trailing behind him.
"Hey kids come and eat," I say while placing their plates down on the table.
"Are they going to eat with us mum?" Iris asks as she sits at the table and I push her in closer to the table.
"Um, I'm pretty sure they have to leave now if they want to make it to school, but they can have some to go if they like," I say looking to the guys in a questioning form.
"Yeah I'd like some to go it sure looks good," Tyler speaks up first and walks over to the kitchen with Ryan shrugging behind him Hunter sighs and follows.
I make three plates then wrap them and hand them each one plate. "Thanks, Glasses," Tyler says and I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Can't call you nerd but I'll call you something that can't offend you." He shrugs and I just give him a slight nod.
"Okay so it looks like it's time for you guys to hurry home and get ready," I say as start walking to the door while they follow along behind me.
"Yeah of course, bye Hope," Ryan is first to open the door and exit.
"See you later glasses," Tyler winks with a two finger salute then walks out the opened door.
"Yeah bye, and thanks again," Hunter says with a small awkward smile then he also leaves closing the door behind and I lock it.
"Okay well then let's go, kids, you have to be to school before we do so let's get going," Daniel says after he finishes his food the kids grab their bookbags then give me a kiss before going into the garage.
"Did you talk to the school about the kids advanced knowledge and about moving them up a few grades?" I ask him as he gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"Yeah and he said that he can't move them up far even after they aced the advanced test they took, but the most he could do is move them up to the first grade," he says in a mocking voice.
"Well, I guess that's okay and I wouldn't want really big kids to mess with them," I speak my thoughts.
"Well I'm using your very expensive car to take them to school today," he says quickly before running out the door before I could protest.
I sigh and put away the dirty dishes in the dishwasher before running up to my room to get ready for yet another day of high school. I feel like school is just a form of torture that has been the worst for me.
