Chapter 18

A/N:
I just want to say I know Logan was only in Italy for six days, but I kinda want to make it longer so I'm going to make it two weeks. Okay bye now

Emma's POV:

Logan comes into my hospital room with suitcases and smiles at me. I don't know if I can go this long without him.

"I have to leave in a few minutes. This is going to be the longest two weeks of my life." He says.

"I know. I'm going to miss you." I respond.

"I'll miss you too. C-can I have a hug?" He asks. I nod my head and wrap my arms around him. I can hear his heart beating really fast. I've never hugged him and it actually meant something. I bury my head into his chest as he grips his arms around me.

"I've got to go, but you get out of here today. The nurses said that you have recovered almost fully and you can go home today. I already packed your bags and brought them here. If you have any problems just text or call me. The boys have a key to the apartment if needed." Logans says.

"Okay...bye." I say grimly.

"Bye." He says and walks out the door with his vlog camera.

-Later that day-

"You're free to go." Ms. Ashley says. She's the nurse that had been taking care of me. She is so sweet, and the only thing I'm going to miss about this hospital. The food is awful and the bed is not comfortable.

"Bye. As much as I hate to say goodbye to you, I'm so happy I get to leave!" I exclaim.

"Bye honey." She says and chuckles as I walk out the door. I go downstairs into the waiting room and see Jonah, Zach, Corbyn, Daniel, and Jack all waiting for me.

"Oh hi." I say nervously. All of them look at me not knowing what to say.

"So...um..you hungry?" Jack asks.

"Starving. All I've gotten is nasty hospital food the past few days. It's killing me." I say. The boys guide me out to their car. I sit between Daniel and Jack in the backseat while Jonah drives and Zach and Corbyn are in the front. There is a middle seat in the front which is weird, because most cars don't have that.

"Want to play a car game? We have an hour until we're at our house, so we have time." Daniel says.

"Sure." I shrug.

"Okay, so what you have to do is name an animal that starts with the letter. So we will start on 'A' then when everyone names an animal that starts with 'A', we move on to 'B', and so on. If you can't name an animal, or repeat an animal already said, you lose." Daniel explains.

"Okay, sounds easy enough." I say. We all go around for a few rounds then get stuck on 'E.' Corbyn said "Elephant," Jonah said, "Eagle," and Zach said, "Elk." Now its Jacks turn and he's trying to think of something.

"I GOT IT!" Jack exclaims. We all eyeball him, waiting anxiously to see what he thought of. "EEL!" Jack says.

"Hey! You took mine!" I pout, then laugh afterward.

"I'm sorry for being such a genius." Jack brags and then chuckles.

"Emma, your turn." Corbyn says. I think for a minute then gasp.

"What?" Jack asks.

"EMU! HAHA EMU!" I yell.

"Nice!" Jonah says.

"Well now I've got to think of one." Daniel says and looks out the window dramatically. A few minutes pass and we are all still waiting for Daniel to answer. I look out Daniels window and see a Zoo.

"I've always wanted to go to a zoo!" I say. All the boys look at me in shock.

"You've never gone to a zoo?!" Zach asks and puts his hand over his heart.

"No. I've never gotten the chance to." I say.

"Well now we have to go to the zoo!" Jack says.

"Thanks Emma. Jack has been annoying us all week to go to the zoo just to see the penguins." Jonah laughs.

"EMPEROR PENGUIN" Daniel yells. Jonah nearly swerves off the road.

"Finally!" Corbyn says. We play the rest of the game, but decide to stop at 'Q' because the only thing we could think of is Quail.

"How about Taco Bell?" Jonah asks. I look out the window and sure enough, there's a Taco Bell.

"I'm down." Daniel says.

"Same." Corbyn agrees.

"Eh. Not really in the mood, but sure." Jack comments.

"How about you Emma? Do you like Taco Bell?" Zach asks.

"Oh, uh I've never tried it." I say nervously.

"Oh. Well I think you'll like it. It's really good!" Daniel says. I nod my head and we go through the Taco Bell drive through. I decide to get the quesadilla with steak on it and a Mtn. Dew freeze. As I take my first bite, I'm instantly in love.

"I think I'm in love." I announce.

"You like it?" Jack asks. I nod my head and take another bite.

We shortly arrive at their house. I step inside and look around. It's absolutely beautiful. My jaw drops as I look in awe.

"Welcome to our humble abode." Corbyn says.

"Woah." Is what I manage to get out of my mouth. They all laugh and direct me to my room.

"I'll help you unpack." Daniel says. I agree and unzip my suitcase. Daniel grabs one of my shirts and puts it on a hanger. He's really sweet and nice. All of them are. It's weird how I connect with them so quickly. I'm usually shy and introverted, but with them I can just be myself. I think I'll like staying here.

"So, tell me about yourself." Daniel says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Like, what's your favorite color." He asks.

"Oh, um...Turquoise." I respond.

"Hm, interesting." He says as he puts a pair of my shorts into a drawer.

"How So?" I ask.

"Well, usually people just say like blue or green." He says.

"Oh, well I guess I'm different." I say and chuckle.

"You certainly are...In a good way." Daniel says.

"Well thank you." I say. After we're done unpacking, we go downstairs and join the other boys on the couch.
