I Tried To Tell You...

I tried to tell you,

I tried to tell you about my issues.

I tried to tell you,

I tried to tell you that I'm going insane and I just don't know what to do.

It's the nightmares that eat me alive at night,

And it's the demons that try to win my thoughts that I fight.

I tried to warn you,

I tried to warn you that I was dangerous.

I tried to warn you,

I tried to warn you that you shouldn't dare try to cross that line in the sand that separates us.

I tried to grab a hold of you but you just pass right through me.

And I desperately wanted to hope that eventually everything would be alright but "He" kept telling me differently.

I tried to stop you,

I tried to stop you when asked me if I was okay.

I tried to stop you,

I tried to stop you when you kept coming; "I told you stay away."

Each and every day that goes by, you're getting even more hurt by me.

You say I'm hurting your feelings...I really don't want them to be.

I tried to tell you,

I tried to tell you that I'm secretly a pyromaniac and that I might set you on fire.

I tried to tell you,

I tried to that I'm just a not-so-regular kid doing what I desire.

I'm capable of more things that you couldn't ever imagine.

And I'm as dangerous as fuck in a battlefield that you're not used to that I'm trying to conceal in.
