Do You Fancy Me Back?...

I'm guessing that I fancy you,

The way your whispers send

Warm tingles down my spine.

And on the inside,

I'm secretly wishing that

You could be mine.

I constantly try and deny

That I don't really fancy you.

But I know that I'm lying,

I know that I really do.

You're always yelling into my ears at the lunch table,

But I don't mind all that much.

I don't notice that you're so annoying

And you don't notice that I don't eat lunch.

Your hair rests perfectly on your head now,

And your eyes sparkle as

They look at me.

I wish I had the guts to tell you

How I feel,

Way down deep beneath.

But you're really something different,

So it's quite hard

To tell you.

People say you're a jerk,

But I honestly don't get bothered

By what you do.

I want to give you my heart,

To take it down

From the rack.

But the only real question that remains is:

If I told you,

Would you even fancy me back?
