The Same...

You see how many flaws I have,
Yet you tell me I'm beautiful.
You don't see what problems I have,
Yet you help be get through them.
You don't know what my life is like,
Though it feels like you go through the same.
You don't know how it feels,
But you are sad when I'm sad.
You don't understand me,
No one does,
But I can't blame you.
You don't see what I see,
Though you say the darkness follows you.
What I didn't realise it that you're just like me,
But we have our differences...
You told me, "I love you,"
And I waited for the "But..."
Though instead came your arms and a,
"No matter what."
