The next morning I woke up at 11:15 it was Friday and if I were back with my friends we'd be shopping by now!

I went and had a shower and got dressed in my jogging bottoms, a vest and a knitted cardigan. I left my hair down to dry naturally.

I went into the lounge where I found a note from my dad.

'Gone to work there's waffles in the freezer, feel free to help yourself!'

So I did just that! After putting the waffles in the toaster and pouring myself a glass of fresh orange a knock came from the door. I ran over to see who it was. It was Tristan stood there awkwardly so I opened the door.

"Hey, again." He said with a grin on his face.

"Hey. What's that grin for?" I asked worried.

"Oh, it's just most girls wouldn't answer the door with wet hair and wearing joggers!" He said laughing.

"Oh, right, haha! I guess I'm not most girls!"

"Haha I guess not! Anyway I came to ask if you wanted to come over and meet the rest of the boys?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck, finding it a difficult question to ask.

"Yeah, sure, that sounds great! You'll just have to let me put on something more appropriate for first introductions!" I answered with a hint of laughter behind my voice.

"Bye."

"See ya!" I replied quickly slamming the door shut behind Tristan. Then the waffles popped up and I quickly drizzled some syrup on them before running up to my room. I took a bite of my waffle before searching through my wardrobe. I then decided on wearing my old The Kooks top with washed-out jeans, my navy Docs and my bracelets which never came off. I put on some mascara but that was it I'm not really into the whole make-up thing!

I then darted out the front door, after having finished my waffles and brushed my teeth, and made sure I locked the door behind me.

I walked over to the door that Tristan had gone through yesterday. Butterflies started to flutter in my stomach as I knocked on the door.

Questions started running through my mind 'What if they don't like me? What if they think my clothes are strange or they think I'm strange? Argh!'

Then suddenly the door opened and there stood a familiar face I'd seen about 15 minutes ago.

"Hey! Come on in, we tidied a bit before you came. The place was a mess!" Tristan said with a smile on his face. He had such a sweet smile that could warm even the grumpiest of people's hearts.

"Haha! Well, it's pretty tidy so no worries!" I replied as the butterflies settled down.

Tristan walked over to the couch where two other boys were sat looking over at me.

"Come sit down." Tristan said as he sat down on the leather couch.

I walked over feeling the butterflies return to the nest. I sat down next to Tristan but not too close as to make him feel awkward.

The two boys who were sat on the couch looked at me. One of them had dirty blonde hair that swooped across his forehead, sky blue eyes and from what I could tell was also quite short, like me. The other boy had the cutest brown curly hair I had ever seen, he had chocolate brown eyes and was also again quite short.

"Hey, I'm Brad." said the boy with the cute curls as he had a smile across his face.

"An' I'm Connor." said the other boy who extended his hand towards me leaning over the arm of the chair.
