Chapter 17: When the heart beats...

It's been a week since we submitted our registration for the IGT and we haven't received any texts or email yet. But for preparation, we always practice our fighting skills every night after our schedules. We won't know when or where we will fight and the most dangerous part is we don't know who our opponents are. They may be around us but we don't have any idea.

As to our career? We completed the dance and currently we are filming our MV. For the past days me and Jungkook got closer. Our suspicion that they are a gang subsided due to lack of evidence. It's bad to suspect others without solid proof, am I right? Maybe those red heads just have the same build like them. I don't know. Let destiny play it's game. If it wants to let us discover who those red heads are then we will found out but for now... I need to calm my heart. Ask why? It's because of Jungkook! I can't help but fall for him. I tried not to but I just can't help it.

Who wouldn't be? During our practice he would always act nice and sweet. After practice he always text me or chat with me in Kakao.

*Flashback

"Lisa you're sweating, here's a towel." He handed me a clean towel.

"It's ok, Jungkook. I brought one too." I was about to get my towel when he wipes my sweat for me.

"It's bad for your body. You should wipe it immediately." He then smiled at me while still wiping my sweat.

I just can't do anything but look at him in utter shock because of his action.

He would always buy me energy drinks and food during break time. For a girl who never had a boyfriend and never experienced this kind of things before, the effect is big time! You know what really made me fall for him? It's this...

*Flashback

We are currently dancing the routines. Everytime I move my hair is getting in my way. I forgot to bring my hair tie. I always let my hair down during practice but this time I really feel annoyed with my hair. Self note: always bring my hair tie. Your hair will just get in your way.

After we finished the whole routine, we took a quick break. I am now sitting with my back on the mirror when Jungkook approached me.

"Hey." He then sat beside me. "Your hair keeps getting in your hair. Why didn't you tie it?"

"I forgot to bring one." I replied.

"Turn around." He commanded.

"Why Jungkook?" I curiously asked.

"Just turn around."

I did what he said but my body froze and my heart beat faster than galloping horses when I felt his hands caress my hair.

"I'll tie it for you. I have a rubber band here."

"I'll do it." I turned around to get the rubber band but he just turned me around again.

"I'll do it. Just stay still."

Every time his hands touch my skin it sends thousands of bolts to my body. I just sat there, petrified. Why is he doing this to me?

"There, it's much better. Now, it won't get in your way." He tied my hair into a ponytail. Then he smiled at me. Calm down my heart. Stop that irratic beating of yours. I scolded myself.

I need to stop this, like right now. I have a tournament to take care and having a connection with him will do me no good. It's either I can't focus or I would just bring harm to him. I don't want that. He's way too important for me.
