"You're already weird, so deal with it," Dean jokes.
Castiel scoffs. "Great, thanks."
"Now, sing, little songbird! Sing!" Lucifer insists.
"'Sing for meeeee!'" Castiel replies. Seeing Lucifer's blank look, he adds, "It's from Phantom, when — you know what? Never mind."
"So, you gonna sing or what?" Dean asks.
"Yes?" Lucifer answers for him. "Good."
Castiel sighs. "Fine. I'll sing a little bit of it. But I'm telling you, it's gonna sound really weird. It's like... 'Ah Christine, my Christine, on that night when the world thought me dead. My Christine, on the night just before you were wed. Ah Christine, you came and found where I hid. Don't you deny that you did, that long ago —' Yeah, I can't hit that note. But he says 'night.'"
"I have a feeling this next part is the part you don't want to sing, so now you gotta sing it," Lucifer tells him.
"But —"
"Do it! Do it! Do it!" Dean chants, and Lucifer joins in almost immediately.
Castiel smacks his head against the wall in exasperation. "Fine, I'll do it! (A/N You don't actually have to read the lyrics, but if you feel like it, go for it. Luci's reply might make more sense idk it'd up yo you.) 'Once there was a night, beneath a moonless sky. Too dark to see a thing, too dark to even try.' 'I stole to your side, to tell you I must go. I couldn't see your face, but trembled at your voice.' 'And I touched you.' 'And I felt you.' 'And I heard those ravishing refrains.' 'The music of your pulse.' The singing in your veins.' 'And I held you. 'And I touched you.' And embraced you.' And I felt you.' 'And with every breath and every sigh.' 'I felt no longer scared.' 'I felt no longer shy.' 'At last, our feelings bared, beneath a moonless sky.' 'And blind in the dark, as soul gazed into soul. I looked into your heart and saw you pure and whole.' 'Cloaked under the night with nothing to suppress, a woman and a man, no more and yet no less.' 'And I kissed you.' 'And caressed you.' 'And the world around us fell away.' 'We said things in the dark we never dared to say.' 'And I caught you.' 'And I kissed you.' 'And I took you.' 'And caressed you, with a need too urgent to deny. And nothing mattered then, except for you and I. Again and then again, beneath a moonless sky.' And then it keeps going and the Phantom says he left cuz he loved her and she said she loved him too and it's this whole thing about how they had awesome sex and yeah, that's basically the song but it's actually really good, I swear."
"It doesn't sound too bad," Dean allows. "I'd be willing to give the musical a shot, I guess."
Lucifer had just been giving Castiel a blank look, but when Dean says that, a smirk appears on his face.
"What?" Castiel asks.
"I figured out why you like that song," Lucifer says smugly.
"Because it's a good song?" Castiel replies, unsure where Lucifer is going with that.
"Because it's about doing the frickle frackle, and..." He clears his throat and gestures to the top bunk, where Dean sits. "You two just got back together."
Castiel just looks at him for a moment as his innocent little mind pieces that together before shoving his brother "playfully." "Lucifer!"
Lucifer shrugs. "Hey, I'm just saying. You two have had a lot of time alone lately." He gives them a suggestive smirk.
"But — you — we — and — what — Luci!" Castiel flops down on the bed face first, so his face is hidden from the camera, lying behind his brother.
Lucifer looks behind himself with a satisfied look on his face. "My little bro's been getting some!"
"Stawp!" Castiel whines.
"But I like making you blush!" Lucifer protests.
"But it's mean!"
"And, judging by the radio silence coming from above, it's also true," Lucifer adds.
"Hey, I'm staying out of this one," Dean tells him.
"Fine, but I totally know it's true."
But in reality, it's not true at all. The two haven't been getting jiggy with it every night as Lucifer seems to suspect. And that is exactly why he's becoming one with the tomatoes. They never have. Maybe when they were younger, he could use the fact that Dean was eighteen and it would technically be illegal as an excuse, but they're both legally adults now. If he thinks the hell he'd get from the Internet for this is bad, he can only imagine what his own friends and family would say. He'd never hear the end of it.
