I don't know why everyone decided to unpublish their stories after I made my announcement. Don't do as I do. I've been bitched at since my last update because the website "isn't doing anything wrong".
In my PERSONAL opinion, they are. They're uploading your story onto their website in a language I don't know personally. The do credit, but their website is quite sketchy.
I don't know what their intentions are to do with my book. They can easily sell it without my knowledge or something bad can happen on the website and my name is technically on there.
Plus, sometimes I share personal information in my stories, like the fact I have PTSD. I trust you guys on Wattpad but not the sketchy website.
"They're doing nothing wrong"-- they kind of are. They're stolen multiple writer's stories without permission and uploaded it to their site. It might credit and have copyright protecting it, but they still didn't ask permission.
Some people did their research and actually looked it up while others just assumed to just take my word. Other asked me questions.
But please, don't do as I do unless you have all the details. I have my personal reasons why I took my stories down for a while.
