As they sat her in the interrogation room, it was all of the Gangnam police who tried to fit in the space behind the glass mirror.
Park Soo Yeon was not just your ordinary haksaeng; she was the man under the hat. The most wanted person of South Korea, the 18-year-old, was Black Moja. The person who had given the country's officials the runaround, and she had just tried to kill the candidate for the year's presidential elections.
What was her motive?
The girl refused to talk; she only had one request.
"Where is Kang Jun Ho? If you don't tell me what happened to Jun Ho, I won't say a thing."
Seoul, Hong Byeongwon
It wasn't that the police didn't want to tell her. They didn't know themselves.
Paramedics transferred the inspector to Hong Byeong Won, where Ga Eun was a wreck unable to follow the procedures.
For the first time in six years, director Hong entered the surgery block.
Soo Yeon shot twice; both bullets landed in Jun Ho's abdomen, making him bleed excessively. It was a delicate operation, but even in his deadly slumber, Jun Ho kept repeating; it's going to be alright, Hye Mi.
Jun Ho couldn't die. He refused to leave Hye Mi with more grief and guilt. He had to fight for her; after three hours in the block, director Hong came out to announce Jun Ho was alive, and he passed the critical stage.
The information was directly transmitted to the Gangnam Police department. The officers immediately let Soo Yeon know the news hoping she would tell them the reasons for her actions.
Seoul, Itaewon
Kwon Jin was still in shock as he drove home. It was unbelievable during a few seconds, the man thought Soo Yeon aimed him, but it was Kang Baek Hyun she wanted. Never in million-time loops would Kwon Jin thought his kitten would go for a kill.
For the first time, Kwon Jin was glad not to have endeavored in seducing her as he thought of how the girl would have conspired to eliminate him.
The deputy Chief laughed nervously at the back of his car as it pulled up to his house. As he got out of his Aslan, Kwon Jin started to think about how he could use the attempted murder on candidate Kang's to his advantage. It was crazy and exciting. Kwon Jin almost thanked Soo Yeon for offering him such a climax of an evening.
His house was silent as usual; he found Hye Ra in front of the internet. The woman switched on the Tv as soon as he entered.
Kwon Jin was in a good mood. He smiled at his wife, who shuddered and hugged herself.
"What are you so happy about?" Hye Ra asked.
"Something crazy happened at the party's gathering. Someone tried to shoot down candidate Kang."
"Something extraordinary is about to happen on Tv too," Hye Ra said, turning up the volume.
It was Ahn Hee Jin's special bulletin. Kwon Jin expected to hear about the shooting, asked Hye Ra to put up some volume, but it was a topic the man didn't expect, which appeared.
Shin Bo Ra in her wheelchair, answering Hee Jin's questions. The interview then shifted to the video Seo Kwan Gi made for Hye Mi, where he explained he had Alzheimer's and shared his fears, unaware of how long he had left.
Photos of Kwon and Songi Hi filled the screen, and finally, a very unexpected Yeong Chae in the clichés which Kwon Jin himself had taken. Of course, FIXXIT had blurred the photos, but the police would receive the originals.
