Soo Yeon was drenched to the bone, Hye Ra wondered how long the girl stood there, but also she asked what kind of people could keep a door close on a crying child.
"Give her the umbrella," Hye Ra ordered to the chauffeur who held one over her head.
"But, Madam."
Hye Ra snatched the umbrella from the chauffeur and handed it to Hye Mi. She reached into her purse and gave Hye Mi two 500 000won notes.
"I don't want your money; I just wish to talk to the senator," Hye Mi pushed away Hye Ra's hand.
Hye Ra approached and took the drenched girl in her arms, "there's a time for everything. Everything gets paid in full in one lifetime. Dry your eyes and beg them no more; you don't need them."
The woman's words were like electroshock in Hye Mi's body. She never stood in front of the Kangs' house again.
Months later, a shattered glass of wine resulted from hearing the remaining Seo's death on a special bulletin. Too many dead people paved the way on Hong Kwon Jin's road, and Hye Ra refused to accept it. So she began to search for the truth, which brought her to New York where a doppelganger of Kim Sae Ha lived.
"Kim Sae Ha Ssi," the woman called Hye Mi's mother as the woman touched a scarf in a YSL store where both shopped.
Sae Ha hurried to leave in shock, followed by Hye Ra, who convinced her she wasn't there to harm her.
"I want to help you, Kim Sae Ha ssi. Where is your daughter? I can help her too?"
Sae Ha thought of her daughter, which she abandoned; she hadn't done anything for Hye Mi. The woman was unable to console her child, who she knew was broken. It wasn't difficult to persuade the mother to tell Soo Yeon's whereabouts. Unlike her mother, Soo Yeon was not only difficult to find, but the suspicious girl was impossible to approach.
A guardian angel watched over her.
In the dark of a parking lot, he met the woman.
"What do you want from Hye Mi?" The man said under his pollution mask.
"I want to help her in any way I can; the people she is up against are ruthless; she won't make it on her own."
"How can you help her?" The man asked, looking at her up and down.
Hye Ra wasn't a hacker, and it was apparent the only thing she fought in was who dressed the best contests at charity galas.
"I have money, I mean, I have plenty of money. I'm sure the girl needs that."
"Even so, I won't allow you to approach her. Give me your phone."
Hye Ra did as demanded.
The man took out another phone, "from now on, you use this phone for everything."
"What about my private life?"
"It's you who sees; you either follow our rules or forget it."
Hye Ra reflected a second; she had nothing to hide. She took the phone, and the man started walking away.
"How do I contact you?"
"Press 1 for Black, 2 for me, and 3 for a group chat, always followed by the hash key."
"What's your name?"
"Call me, FIXXIT."
Alone, Hye Ra didn't stand a chance against Kwon Jin, but with Black Moja, FIXXIT and NETIZEN, the time to pay up had arrived.
