Everything's been crazy with everything  that's been going on. 

The firehouse incident. 

Giving his alderman job away. 

Coming out of the fire factory safe and sound. 

Gabby's father is still staying with them. Turns out Matt doesn't mind anymore. Things are different without Louie around. 

At shift everyone was minding their business until Gabby's phone went off. 

G:Hello

U:Is this Gabby Dawson? 

G:It's  Gabby Casey but what's this about?

U: I work at  the adoption agency. I heard you have a connection to Louie Thompson(I think that's his last name)

G:Yes I did but he's with his dad now. 

U:Yes, well his dad went back over seas and he's signs permanently custody back over to you and Matthew Casey. 

Gabby had no words. This was like a dream come true. 

U:Are you free tomorrow to meet?

G: Yeah. Would 11 work for you? 

U:Yes I'll see you tomorrow Mrs.Casey

Gabby was so happy. She ran to Matt's office and closed the door.  

"We're getting him back."Gabby told him. 

"What?"Matt said. 

"We're getting permanent custody of Louie . "Gabby said. 

"Are you serious ?What happened?"Matt asked. 

"They said Andre is going back over seas an signed us custody of him."Gabby said. 

"Oh my god.  We're going be a family."Matt said. 

"We're going to be a family."They kissed each other. 

The next day after shift they went to the agency. 

"Mr and Mrs Casey, hi i'm Victoria the one who talked to you."Victoria  shook hands with them. 

"Yeah, my wife told me what happened. So all we have to do is sign and he's ours."Matt asked. She nodded. 

"So sign here and we'll be good."She said They signed the papers. She went to get Louie and Louie ran over to them. 

"Daddy. Mamma."Louie said. 

"We're a family."Gabby chuckled. 

"We're a family."Matt walked out with his family and went home.
