Shattered sunlight
Broken glass
It's never a whole
Just two halvesCrumbled leaf
Reveals the webbing
Strength inside
Don't be forgettingSnowflake paper
Full of holes
Prettier
Than white plain oldIcy prisms
Rainbow light
Split into pieces
To be more brightBroken hearted
Muscle pulped
Hope you know
It really helped.***
No excuses: I have no right to write this.
I've been with the same person for five years, and I'm sixteen. Writing about break ups "making you stronger" is completely outside my emotional range.
I'm sorry.
