Taehyung's POV

After having my Father agreed to let Jungkook stay. But convincing him will be harder than I thought it would be. I walk to the Hall of Beautiful Youth and went inside as I saw Jungkook sitting on the bed.

"Your highness," Jungkook said.
"Jungkook. Are you alright?"
"Yes," he said.

I walked toward Jungkook as I sat down.

"Jungkook. I'm sorry that you were caught."
"It was fine. I should have been fast enough to run back," Jungkook said.

I grab Jungkook's hand and held it tight.

"Jungkook since Father knows that you are here. He won't go easy on you. This means that if you cause trouble, you will be punished. I'll do my best to take the punishment for you."
"Your highness," Jungkook said.
"I will do everything I can for you."

Jungkook leans his head on my chest.

"What will happen now. Heavenly Lord has me standing here by myself. Without you, I don't think I can sleep. What if I need you and it's important. You have been with me for 3 days, and soon I will be due in a few days now," Jungkook said.
"I know and I will send a palace maid to assist you. I'll try my best to check up on you but promise me one thing."
"Anything your highness," he said.
"You must stay away from Princess Shan Xin."
"From the Mermaid Tribe," he said.
"Yes. You must stay away from her. I don't trust her. Do you promise?"
"I promise your highness," he said.

After a while, we lay there as Jungkook cuddle up to my chest. I touch his stomach. I suddenly felt a kick. I suddenly smiled.

"My little child. I promise to protect you and be the best father that I can be for you."

Jungkook's POV

I sat there as the medicine king took my pulse as I rub my stomach. The palace maid, Nai Nai stood behind me. Nai Nai was very loyal to me. She's very nice. She would take me to see his highness.

"You are doing well and so is the little prince too. Have you thought of a name for the little prince," the medicine king said.
"Taeguk. His name will be Taeguk. His highness always wanted a son name Taeguk."
"Well make sure to keep Taeguk healthy," he said.
"I will sir."

The medicine king bowed before he left.

"Jungkook. You have a scroll," Nai Nai said.

Nai Nai gave me a scroll and I read it. It was from his highness.

'My Love, please join me by the lotus pond this afternoon. I will see you there.

-Prince Taehyung'

I smile at the scroll.

"Nai Nai. May you take me to see his highness at the lotus pond please."
"Of course," Nai Nai said.

Nai Nai got me up as we left the Hall of Beautiful Youth. We walk to the lotus pond and I saw Princess Shan Xin.

"Your highness."
"Don't. You have the prince child. It seems like the prince is late. Let's walk," her highness said.

Princess Shan Xin wraps her arm around mine. Suddenly we walk to this unknown place. It was full of stairs. We walk up the stairs. I heard my name was behind being called, I look back and it was nobody. As we got to the top of the steps, I saw a purple vortex on the ground.

"Let's go," Princess Shan Xin said.

I step back.

"What is this."
"Do you think that Prince Taehyung wants someone to like you here in the Celestial Tribe? You wouldn't even fit in. I'm his future wife. After you give birth to the prince child, Jump off the Zhuxian Terrance. Someone like you shouldn't be here," Princess Shan Xin said.

I look down. His highness was right, I should stay away from her highness. Suddenly I saw Taehyung and Princess Shan Xin grab my arm and I did my best to let go but instead, she let go and attempt to fall into the Zhuxian Terrance and his highness caught him.

"What happen," his highness said.
"Jungkook told me to meet him at the lotus pond. Then he leads me here. We had an argument and he tries to push me in the Terrence," her highness said.
"Your highness. That's not true. I didn't push her. I would never do that. Your highness."
"SILENCE," his highness said.

I suddenly jumped. Suddenly I saw Prince Taehyung pick up Princess Shan Xin's bridal style.

"Guard. Take this snake back to the Hall of Beautiful Youth and make sure he does not leave without my permission," his highness said before he walks away.

The guard came and got me and threw me in my room. I stay in the room, in shock. His highness never yells at me before. Suddenly I saw his highness appear.

"Nai Nai. You may go," his highness said.

Nai Nai bowed before she left. I stood up and walk toward him.

"Your highness, I didn't do it. I didn't push her."
"I know. I know you didn't push her," his highness said.
"I'm so happy that you believe me."
"But Princess Shan Xin is really hurt and her eyes are burned. So for you not to be killed, I must take your eyes to replace Shan Xin," he said.

My eyes suddenly widen. I step back until I fell back on my bed and fell on my bottom hard. I couldn't help but cry as tears fall.

"Why. I didn't do it. Your highness. Please."

Taehyung begins to walk toward me. I begin to be scared that I backed away and Taehyung face suddenly look sad as I saw his eyes watered.

"It's all my fault. I couldn't let Father take your eyes. So I had to do," his highness said.
"B-but you promise. Y-Y-You, promise me."

Suddenly Taehyung grabs both of my wrists and looks me in the eye.

"I know. I will keep my promise to protect you, to love you, and never hurt you. For now on, I will be your eyes," he said.

I couldn't help but cry more. I saw Taehyung's hand reach out and cover my eyes. The pain was painful. I could my eyes were being taken. And right then and there, I couldn't see anymore. I was blind.
