I sigh before making my way over to the wall which has an intercom system which allows me to communicate throughout the house to different rooms.
I press two buttons one for Owen's room the other for Iris' room. "Kids come eat," I let go of the buttons not expecting a reply cause they probably are already out their doors coming down for food. They were right in front of me after listening to them trample down the staircase.
As they get to the table I admire their beautiful almost grey eyes and light mixed skin, they're also only a little bit chubby but the cute baby fat chubby then with their curly light brown hair is long and full. They also only are as tall as my thighs and on their way to school this year since they are so smart are being welcomed a year early to school, me and their father, Daniel, will have to decide who gets to have them and who will see them mainly on weekends because we are in California right now and Daniel is in Florida so I wonder how the kid thing will work.
I'm okay with whichever being that I have a 'gang' and there are bad people who may try to get them. I have no doubt that I can and will be able to protect them cause they are no safer with him being that I have organizations everywhere and he is in charge of the one in Florida.
"Mum are you going to eat with us," Owen asks.
"Of course just give me a second please, okay?" They nod their head and continue eating.
I go into the living room to see the guys eating pizza on my white sofa. I clear my throat loud enough for them to turn and look at me.
Tyler sighs. "Yeah we know 'don't eat in the living room' we're going," he grunts and walks around me into the kitchen.
I look at Hunter and Ryan who look at each other before shrugging and grabbing the pizza box and also walking around me into the kitchen. I sigh and follow behind them.
"Wow they look just like you," Tyler says in awe.
"Well she is our mom," Iris says in a duh tone like her usual sassy self.
The guys look at each other as though they couldn't believe the sass from this child.
"How old is she Hope?" Ryan asks.
"She and Owen just turned five," I smile then sit in between the kids and the guys sit across from us.
"That looks amazing, did you make that Hope in only that little amount of time?" Tyler asks.
"Yoh beht she dihid," Iris muffles through her sloppy mouth of food.
"Okay, that's enough out you, finish up so you can get to bed," I raise an eyebrow at her and she slurps in her food before giving me a smile with a mocking salute.
I shake my head at them and look across me and see Hunter starring at me. "Do I have something on my face?" He looks at me confused. "You seemed to be starring," I raise an eyebrow at him from behind my fake glasses.
"Oh no you don't," he grins but I still noticed the light tinge of pink on his cheeks. I shrugged and moved on until a second later when the doorbell rings.
I become alarmed being that I didn't invite anyone and the guys aren't jumping up to say that's probably someone they invited and Mark went home so I wondered who it could be.
"Excuse me for a second while I get the door," I say while standing then walking to the front door away from the kitchen.
Because I have my kids here I decide to get a weapon before opening the door from a secret wall compartment that's in the actual wall. It opens and the lights shine a blue color and I see guns of different sizes but I grab the small metal bat instead. Don't need the guys seeing me with a gun.
