~Compromise~

I'm sorry for posting late, I was at a program.

Aphmau's POV

The seagulls squawking filled the unbearable silence.

"Aaron....nice to see you.." Gene answers, with some hostility.

Why was he angry with Aaron?

"Yeah right" Aaron retorts, his stance tense.

"No really, I want to apologize to you, for what I did to you in high school" Gene pleads, his hostility seemed covered.

Aaron scoffs, shaking his head.

Gene was about Aaron's height, but Aaron was more muscular then Gene, leaving Gene kind of vulnerable. 

"I don't expect to get your trust overnight, but overtime?" Gene asks, rubbing his hands together nervously.

He seemed like he was.....acting?

Aaron just walks off.

I turn to Gene, opening my mouth to apologize, but he cuts me off.

"No, I deserve it. I'll give him time" Gene walks back to his lifeguard chair.

I let out the breath I was holding in.

Katelyn's POV

"Hey hey there Alina, I know....I know you miss Mama and Dada.." I comfort Alina, she eased her sobs, but was still wearing a sad expression.

"OWW!" I hear Travis man-girl-scream from the living room.

He must be playing with Lilth.

Lilth comes skipping into the room, smiling.

She is followed by a pained Travis.

He comes and sits next to me and Alina.

"Hey Travis, can I talk to you about something?" I ask him, slowly bobbing Alina up and down.

"Sure babe, what is it?" Travis asks, his eyes on Alina.

"What do you think of Gene?" I question.

Travis looks at me, his expression clearly concerned. 

Then his expression relaxes.

"Its about Aphmau isn't it?" Travis suggests.

"I don't trust him" I state.

"I know....I know" Travis soothes, pulling me into his chest with Alina.

So, you must be wondering where is the drama?

Its coming don't worry.
