Aphmau's POV

I groggily open my eyes, I feel the nausea hit me like a truck.

I leap out of the bed, covering my mouth with my hand, trying to keep it in.

I burst open the door, searching for the toilet.

I explode into the basin, reliving memories. 

I feel a smooth hand graze my neck, pulling my hair back. 

After erupting like a volcano, I wipe my mouth with my sleeve. 

I feel a few tears gather in my eyelids.

"Hey..hey..." Aaron turns my head to him, wiping my tears away with his thumb.

"Its gonna be different this time okay?" Aaron reassures, holding my cheek in his hand.

He places his palm on my abdomen, sending chills through my body.

"We are going to see this one today....come on get ready" He pulls me up slowly.

We drop Lilth off at Travis and Katelyn, then start our drive towards the medical practice.

I lean my elbow on the window of the car, staring at the moving world before us.

I rub my temples with my fingertips, trying to release my migraines, spreading throughout my head.

I feel my other hand being wrapped in another, I turn my head. 

Aaron was giving me quick reassuring look, before turning his attention back to the road.

"Its going to be okay......We will see our baby today....and she or he will be an angel, like you"

I give him a small smile, and tighten my grip on his hand.

We arrive at the medical practice.

Aaron opens the door for me, and laces his hand with mine.

At least if anything happens, I still have Aaron.

We enter the building, the inside of the large building putting me in awe

(Ignore the dubai thingy)

"Here sit down, I'll go check about our appointment" He says, gesturing me to sit down.

"Okay, thank you Aaron." I say, with a small smile.

He gives me a kiss on the forehead, he walks over to the counter.

I turn to the side table next to me, magazines sprawled across the table.

Aaron's POV

"Ms. Phoenix, 10:00" I say to the employee.

"Give me a sec" He says and starts typing on his computer.

"Aaron...Aaron Lycan?" I hear from an all-too-familiar voice.

I turn my head to see a tall girl with long brown hair. 

Where have I heard that voice?

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" I ask, confused.

"Oh...Lily...from High school..its been what 6 years?" She asks.

"Oh...hey lily.." My voice a bit harsh, remembering what she did.

"Hey umm...do you want to get a coffee or something?" She asks, her hair framing her face.

"I'm actually here with Aphmau" I say pointing over at her, holding a magazine.

"Oh..." Lily says.

"We are actually here for an ultrasound" I remark, waiting for her reaction.

"Oh...uh...congrats...." She says, in a monotone voice.

"I gotta go...have a nice life Aaron" She said, stomping off.

That actually amused me.

Aphmau's POV

I looked up from my magazine, momentarily and see Aaron talking to a brown haired girl.

She looked so familiar.

Oh.

Lily.

I looked back down to tasty meals that I'm craving on paper.

Absolute torture.

I peek above the magazine, to see Aaron walking over, I pretend to ignore him.

"I just talked to Lily, you know from high school?" He says, waiting for me to respond.

"Ya, I remember her, too well." I respond, not looking up from the magazine. 

"I just told her we were here for an ultrasound.." He says, I look up from my magazine, looking for him to continue.

"I have to tell you, it was amusing" He says with a smile.

I smile a bit too.

"Ms. Phoenix, we are ready for you" A woman with long red hair, wearing a white lab coat says.

I lay down on the bed, my shirt pulled up.

My breaths short and sharp.

Aaron must have noticed, because he came to my side and held a tight grip on my hand. 

He gave me a reassuring look as the doctor placed cool gel on the lower part of my abdomen.

She pressed the plastic tool and moved it around my skin.

I held my breath and bit my lip.

My grip tightening around Aaron's hand.

He did the same.

It was silent.

"There" She said, pointing at the screen.

We all looked at the hard-to-identify image, finding our baby.

I felt a tear descend down my cheek, and a smile grew across my face.

"Looks appropriate for 12 weeks" She says, and hands us a picture. 

I skim the photo with my fingertips. 

I look at Aaron and place my forehead on his.

We will have our family.

Don't give up on us yet baby.
