Sickness.
Physical Injury.
Drama.
Romance.
Friendship.
Family.
Hardship
And Love.
Life throws these things at us,
We decide what to do with it.
Do we fight,
or do we flight.
Do we love,
Or do we hate.
Do we hurt,
or do we heal.
This is what life teaches you.
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows.
You need to be away from the light,
In order to appreciate it.
Though we do not have forever, to love and hate, flight and fight, or hurt and heal.
We have the time life gives us.
What I have done with mine,
In the end I'm proud.
I look at what I have now.
And I smile.
The best thing is,
they smile back.
