Life.

Why does Life throw what it does at us?

Is this all a game?

A simulation?

A test?

My thoughts were interrupted by me tripping over a crack in the sidewalk.

Ugh.

I don't think it should be physically possible to trip over a centimeter wide hole.

Well that's life for you.

I turn off the sidewalk and onto my driveway. 

The lights were off.

That's weird, Aaron would be waiting for me at this time.

I walk up to the door, rummaging through my purse for my keys.

They are just never there when you need them. 

When you are looking for money though, they drop out.

I find the metal disfigured object and jam it into the doorknob.

The door creaks open, the hinges crying.

I spent the next few minutes trying to yank the key out, when I heard a small giggle.

This wasn't Lilth's giggle.

It sounded like a.....cat giggle?

Then the lights flickered on and everyone,

Katelyn, The Team, Travis, Kawaii~chan, Dante, Nicole, Cadenza who was holding Lilth, Lucinda, Garroth, Laurence, Zane, and..

Aaron.

They all jumped out shouting.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

I smiled wide and covered my mouth with my hand,

which still had the freaking key in it.

I spat at the air, trying to get dirty key off my lips.

Aaron walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my hips and interrupted my spitting.

He looked down then leaned in, placing his lips on mine. 

Our hearts in sync.

Every time we kiss,

I fall in love with him again.

Cliche I know, but it was true.

Many people can say that and not lie.

But not all.

We released because we heard Zane yelling.

"COVER YOUR EARS IF YOU WANT TO KEEP THEM"

We all took cover, our hands raised to the side of our heads.

We heard a not-so-muffled scream.

Then I heard Ross yelling.

"AAAAH MY ROSSUME EARS!"

"SHUT UP ROSS!" Mad Max yelled.

"whaaaaat you Mad Max?" Sky slyly said.

You can probably guess what happens next.

Aaron cooked some homemade pizza and Kawaii~chan made a lot....
