Today was a strange day, not was I only starting my first day as an 8th grader but I also felt like I was starting all over again. My best friend doesn't know me as much as I thought he did. However I made two new friends, Francesca and Camilla who are also into yearbook. I just wish that my old friends could be just as understanding, especially the one I need the most.....the one my heart beats....the name......
My phone rang just as I was about to write down Leon's name. Instead his name appeared on the screen. I waited until the phone stopped ringing. As I looked across the way to see if Leon was watching, I found out that he was standing by the window calling me again.
This time I couldn't ignore his call, because I saw him and he is watching my every move.
"You know it is not nice to stare." [Vilu]

I can't believe what I have just done. I SANG in front of Leon. I hope I wasn't too pitchy or off key. Great, what am I supposed to do. Hang up?
"Wow! You can REALLY sing. A lot like your mom." [Leon]
"Thanks...I have a little bit of stage freight.....that's why you never heard me sing." [Vilu]
"Well now that I have, you NEEED to sign up for the auditions for the show. [Leon]
"Leon! Didn't you hear a word I had just said?" [Vilu]
"Yes, you have stage freight. But Vilu let me ask you this, is singing what you want to do?" [Leon]
"No.....singing is who I am." [Vilu]
"Ok then, we have a whole year before the show to prepare you in front of a large crowd. And if you need any advise from a professional I am sure Pablo will have no problem with helping you. Besides, you're not alone. I will be there with you." [Leon]
"Thanks Leon, you don't know how much that means to me." [Vilu]
"Well what do you expect? I am your best friend...And you know when you need it you can count on me like one two three I'll be there 'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do oh yeah." [Leon]
"You are silly, you know that?" [Vilu]
"Yes I do. *chuckles* Goodnight Vilu." [Leon]
"Goodnight Leon." [Vilu]
Just then a melody came into my head with a few words that could possibly fit to be lyrics....
