The Android
"Ah! Mini me!" Tony cried, bringing the woman into a hug. "So glad you made it!" Jasmine rolled her eyes at his behaviour, giving him a halfhearted hug back with one arm, the other occupied with her laptop bag.
"What's wrong, Tony?" she said bluntly. "You don't call me unless it's important. . .you didn't create an Ultron again, did you?"
"No!" Tony grimaced, pulling the young lady alongside him to his lab. "I mean, sorta. . ."
"Tony!"
"He's a good one, I swear!" Tony held his hands up in surrender. "He helped the Avengers and I at Sokovia."
"And how come I wasn't aware of this until now?"
"Because you were having a vacation and you told me not to contact you until you returned."
". . .good point." They arrived at his lab, Jasmine spotting a red form on his table. "Is that -?"
"Jasmine, meet Vision." Tony allowed her in the lab, watching as she walked around the table, analysing him. "He was supposed to be Ultron's flesh form, but we stopped him in time and changed him for good."
"I see." she murmured. "Created by Thor's lightning, right?"
"Yep." He rocked on the back of his heels.
"What's wrong with him?"
"Uh, we don't know, really. He stopped Ultron for good with that gold stone in his forehead. We think it might have drained him? Dunno, Banner isn't here anymore so. . ."
"I doubt he drained all his energy." she mused, eyeing the stone. "It's still glowing."
"Help me bring him back to life?" Tony asked hopefully. She sighed in defeat as a response.
"Well, I have nothing else to do."
"And also you're basically a mini me and Banner combined -"
"Let's not go there, dude."

He opened his eyes, looking at he familiar surrounding. Just like when he was first created.
He slowly sat up, looking around in confusion. He was confused as to why he was back in the lab, when the last thing he remembered was destroying Ultron for good. What happened?
"Oh! Hello! I didn't expect you to awake so soon." Vision turned to the voice quickly, spotting a small meek girl. She had brown messy hair tied in a loose bun, a loose grey sweatshirt with tights. She looked at him with her brown eyes, analysing him thoughtfully. Vision returned the look.
"What. . .happened?"
"You kind of drained almost all of your energy in killing Ultron." she explained, walking towards him. "You used more than expected."
"I see," he mused, "I'm still trying to get used to my powers."
"It's okay." she shrugged. "Mistakes happen." She did a quick check-up on him, Vision watching her curiously. "I'm Jasmine."
"Vision." he returned. "I haven't seen you around -"
"Returned from a vacation." she answered him. "The New York incident kind of affected me a bit. Losing family members and all. . ."
"I'm sorry." he blinked. She gave him a small smile.
"It's okay." she assured him. "Who knew an android had emotions?"
"I'm not like other androids." he replied with an unsure smile.
"I know." she beamed. "You're unique." He liked the sound of that coming from her.

Months later. . .
"Well how about that." Wanda sighed. "An android has feelings."
"Theoretically -"
"Vis, I don't think you should finish that sentence." Wanda have her close friend a smirk. "Or else you came here for no reason."
"It's. . .strange," he admitted, "talking about feelings. Me, having feelings." He sat at her desk in her room, watching her sprawl out in her bed. "So what should I do, since you're the closest friend to me."
"Ask her out." Wanda shrugged. Vision frowned at her.
"How?"
"Just go to her and ask if she'd like to have some dinner with you some time."
"I don't eat -"
"Well, walk around the park? The movies? Anything, Vision." She sent him a look. "Don't tell me you're being a coward."
"I-I'm not." he stuttered. "Just. . .I've never done this before."
"Because you were only just recently born." Clint snickered from the entrance. Wanda sent him a look. "What? Your door was open, I was passing by and heard you guys talking."
"Don't you have a baby to look after?" she sassed. Clint raised his hands in surrender.
"Alright, alright, I'm leaving. . ." When he was gone, Wanda turned to her friend.
"Come on, you got a lady to ask out."

"Jasmine?"
"Hm? Oh! Hey, Vision!" Jasmine smiled at him. "What's wrong? You don't really go down here at the lab."
"Ah, yes, well. . ." He looked around at Tony's lab awkwardly. "I. . .came here. . .to ask something. . ."
"Yes?" she dropped her work, focussing on him curiously. "What's up?"
"The ceiling." he answered automatically. He cleared his throat when he realised his mistake. "I-I mean. . ."
"Take your time." she smiled gently at him. "It's okay."
"Hurry up, already!" Wanda yelled in his mind, barely hiding his wince and merely blinking.
"Would you. . .like to go on a dinner with me?" he asked her quickly. "I mean, I don't eat, but you do, so -"
"Yes." Jasmine smiled at him brightly, stepping towards him. "Yes, I'll go on a dinner with you."
"Marvellous!" he exclaimed happily. "I'll see you tonight, at seven."
"Okay!"
"Great!" They stood there for a while, staring at each other.
"Leave and get the dinner ready, doofus!" Wanda scolded.
"I-I should go and get the dinner ready -"
"Of course, I'll see you soon." Jasmine smiled at him one last time. "It's a date."
"It's a date." Vision confirmed with a small smile.
