author's much needed opening statement:

i. i have rewritten this story for like four times. This is very close to my heart that my perfectionist self can't take the mistakes and the childish concept of the first drafts. I might rewrite this again after several years but for now, this is the best version I could offer.

ii. i often write grey characters. people who walk between the line of good and evil. goody goody is not my taste. but please remember this rarely happens in real life so take caution ;)

iii. my main girls will always be in Slytherin. they are shrewd and determined. they make decisions through logic with a tiny bit of heart. if you think that's too perfect, you can go.

iv. i accept constructive criticism, feel free to give it to me. this is written in multiple first POVs. speaker is shown above.

v. the story is a mixture of tropes i love so if you like romance X love-hate X crime X action X angst X revenge X partners in crime. please give me a chance.
