58. The Fans See You At A Concert

Harry: You’re standing between the stage and the barrier, messing around on your phone before the show starts. The girls behind you start to say your name and you contemplate on whether you should turn or not. You decide on the former, turning your head to them with a bright smile. They ask for pictures and make small talk with you, loading their pictures up on Twitter. You hear them squeal behind you when they start gushing over Harry re-tweeting their picture, smiling up at him as he runs out on stage. They thank you at the end of the concert when Harry pays extra attention to their section.

Liam: Paul walks you to the sound booth, keeping a hand on your back before lifting you up onto the platform the booth is on. You’re sitting beside Lou, playing on your phone when the girls in front of you start turning around. You give them a smile and a wave, a frown taking place when they scoff. This isn’t anything new but it still stings. You check your twitter, ready to tweet a picture from your seat about how excited you are when you notice all the mentions flooding your feed. You shouldn’t click on them but you can’t stop yourself; Lou squeezes your knee when your eyes water at how hateful and hurtful the things the girls are saying, trying to offer some comfort since Liam isn’t around. He points to the sound booth where he knows you’re sitting during Moments, giving a bright smile but you can tell something is bothering him. Later that night you see he’s tweeted about how it hurts him to see such awful things being said about you.

Niall: You’re doing your best to ignore the girls around you as they start saying awful things. Eleanor is seated beside you, trying to distract you from their harsh words. Niall can tell something’s bothering you by your curt text messages and feels helpless to stop the girls from being mean. You don’t want to stand once the concert starts but know their words will only be harsher if you stay in your seat. When Niall dedicates Everything About You to you, it only angers the girls more. By the end of the concert, Niall’s had Paul lift you and Eleanor over the barrier hoping to lift your spirits. After the concert, Niall tweets about how disappointed he is in the girls that were being ugly to you.

Louis: You’re claustrophobic so Paul sets you a seat between the barrier and the stage. You take your seat about 5 minutes before the boys are supposed to come on stage. Paul stands with you as the fans in the first few rows begin to crowd up against the barrier behind you. You turn around and smile to say hi and chat with them before the show begins. Fans tweet pictures and videos of you talking with the fans before the concert as well as you singing along to all of your boyfriend’s songs.

Zayn: You’re at the sound booth. It’s your favorite place to be during the concert. It’s a great seat and it always fascinates you how the whole show is run. You’re sitting on a stool next to one of the techs when you notice a group of fans in front of you turned around smiling and waving at you. You smile back and blow a kiss to them right as the lights go down and the show starts.
