those were the only words that was written-it was short and yet it held so much emotion.
❝─i miss you too but i ... we can't. i can't, jeongguk❞
i found myself replying as i stood infront of his locker. i was almost about to drop the paper on the container when my wrists were suddenly held.
i caught myself being dragged unto the rooftop and i certainly knew the boy that held me.
"jeongguk, stop this. we, i am not allowed to b-"
my voice was cut short when my small frame were embraced in a warm embrace and i was engulfed into his arms once we were in the rooftop
"i missed you so much, haine. please, let's be friends again and i promise not to hurt you. I'll do everything just.. just"
I felt the sincerity in his voice as he shivered and soon enough my uniform was already getting soaked.
"i can't jeo-"
he pulled away and our foreheads touched, his eyes locked unto mines-tears dripping down in his eyes.
"i missed you, so much"
my eyes started to get glossy and i felt his thumb wipe away the tears.
"i'm scared. i want to but i can't"
"w-why?"
"cause ... they might take you away from me, too"
