32| It's Ya Birthday

Once I finished cleaning Sebastian's wound, I went to my room and took a long hot shower. Since it was my birthday yesterday, I decided to wear something special.

I threw on a satin light pink slip and Sebastian's necklace.

I couldn't help but stare at myself in the mirror as the necklace shined. He deserves a little more than a kiss for this...

Maybe...if we...and I...in the room...

I walked out of my room and almost ran into Alfredo.

" Woah" I stated as I backed up a few steps.

" Excuse me, Ms. Ortega, I hope you don't beat me with a bloody hanger" Alfredo proclaimed with sarcasm.

" Ha ha ha, very funny"

" I bet it was for the 2 men you beat down. I'm sure they're all having a ball in the infirmary" Alfredo retorted.

" Why don't you go and check" I suggested as I left him alone with his angry self.

I walked to the lady's parlor, where we all usually hung out, but no one was there.

Where could they've all gone?

My stomach grumbled interrupting my thoughts. I headed to the kitchen to satisfy my needs. I walked in to see no one was in there either, but a cake caught my eye.

It was a birthday cake with shoes on it for Jennifer, whoever that is.

It's probably someone in the competition that I didn't care to acquaint myself with.

There were plates, forks, and a knife. I did what any person would do, cut myself a piece of cake. It was chocolate, my favorite. It was so good; I savored every chocolatey bite.

As I finished up my slice of cake, I heard muffled voices and footsteps.

This time I didn't even attempt to grab a weapon because I knew it was probably one of the kitchen staff or Paul. I sliced myself another piece of cake because your girl was still hungry.

" Surprise!" A whole group of people consisting of the contestants, the staff, and the royal family announced as they entered the kitchen and the camera crews popped out of nowhere.
