"Elijah Johnson, you can go and see Armani now, in room number 12" a doctor says, I smile at her and walk down the corridor.
I walk into the room, she looks up at me "hi EJ" she says she looks down at her bandaged arm Then around the room, "why am I here?" She asks "you almost died...again Marnie" she sighs deeply
"Thanks Eli" she says "it's okay...third time lucky I guess" I say and she nods "what's the time?" She asks and I look up at the clock "it's 5am, time for me to go" I yawn
"don't leave, stay" she says and she makes space in the bed, "fine" I kick off my shoes and lay next to her, I burry my head into her neck and wrap my arms around her lower back.
"Can you stop scaring me like that please" I ask and she nods "if you feel that way again just talk to me about it, I'm always willing to talk" I say "I will" she whispers and then she turns the light off.
I know I have a girlfriend and yeah I love her, no I'm not cheating on her I'm just supporting my friend, something that she's never had since Jacob kidnapped her.
