Chapter 31 - Ripped

Ava's P.O.V

"Forget it, this is hopeless" I heard shuffling and I felt him get closer to me.

A soft hand caressed my cheek before I felt his lips press against mine.

I tried to push him away. Nothing.

My hands were glued to my sides, eyes not opening. No movement anywhere in my body. All I could do was let this maniac kiss my lifeless body.

"Hey Ava, they said you can wake up today. But you'll be on life support. Again, you have the choice to wake up or not, its up to you now baby" My dad said, caressing my stone cold hand.

"Right shall we try wake her up then?" The nurse said.

"Please, that would be great" Dad said.

I heard beeping noises, before I felt my fingers twitch and toes wiggle. My eyes fluttered open but quickly shut again when they were exposed to the white light.

"Ava!" My dad ran over kissing my forehead.

"Hey dad" I said groggily.

Memories flashed over my mind from last night.

I looked around and started panicking.

"Ava what's wrong sweetie?"

"He was here! He kissed me, he was in this room!" I cried, frantically looking around.

"It was probably just a dream sweetie"

I nodded, knowing his accusations were incorrect, however I went along with it.

My eyes batted as I almost fell into a deep slumber, but something knocked me out of my trance.

"Miss me doll?"

My eyes shot open, his face right in front of mine.

"Please, just leave me alone, we are over J"

"See, you still love me. You called me J"

"I don't love you, I'm on life support because of you"

"Well, things happen, people die. You just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time doll"

"Don't call me that?"

"Why not, doll"

"Just leave, come back when somebody actually wants you"

"Who would want me?"

"Nobody, so stay away"

"But I want you"

"Well, I'm not yours so go"

He walked closer to me, his breath touching my face.

"Well if I can't have you..." he whispered into my ear.

"HELP!! PLEASE HELP!"

"NOBODY CAN!!"

He reached over, pulling all the wires from my body, the wires that were keeping me alive.

Ripping away my breath.

Ripping away my heart.

Ripping away my life.
