Maya's POV

"Can you please tell me where we're going? I don't know whether to wear sweatpants or a dress." I complained holding my phone with my check against my shoulder.

"Just dress comfortable. You'll see." I can hear the smile in Lucas' voice.

"Lucas, 'comfortable' still doesn't clarify sweatpants or dress."

"See you at noon!" Lucas abruptly hung up the phone.

I fell face first on my bed and yelled in frustration, "GRRRRR!!"

"You ok?" Riley popped her head out from my door.

"No!" I sighed sitting up, "Lucas told me to dress 'comfortable' but I don't know what that means. I haven't been on a date in over 5 years, help me." I pouted my bottom lip out.

"Does this mean I can give you a makeover!!" Riley clapped her hands together running over to my closet.

"Riley, please don't pick something that screams Riley-picked-me-out!!!" I smiled sarcastically with jazz hands.

"Oh don't worry! I got this." Riley narrowed her eyes and became all serious. She grabbed a few pieces of clothing and laid them on the bed, "Ok! Pick from these."

I looked at the selections Riley has laid out...There were 3 casual dresses, "I like this one." I said picking up the dress with florals.

"Good choice." Riley smiled, "What shoes are you gonna wear?"

"Hmm." I looked around my room to find any comfortable/decent shoes, "These look decent right?" I questioned scanning the tan wedges.

"So you don't know were you are going?" Riley asked sitting crisscross
Applesauce on my bed.

"Ugh no. Which is why I'm so frustrated. Like what am I suppose to wear Lucas, Huh? A potato sack??"

"Aww!" Riley gushed.

"How is that cute?" I asked walking to the bathroom.

"It means he doesn't care what you look! He likes you no matter what." Riley's hands were clasped together and her eyes looked like they were forming hearts.

"That is kinda sweet, He should still tell me where we are going." I huffed grabbing my eyebrow brush...gotta groom those caterpillars, "Your watching Timothy tonight right?"

"Yep! I got this babysitting thing down." Riley smiled sure of herself.

"Ok.....you're gonna have a wild child on your hands tonight." I chuckled.

"I heard my name." Timothy smirked walking into my bathroom.

"Alright kid," I smiled picking up Timothy, "You listen to Aunt Riley, if I hear you've been a stinker at all tonight there will be consequences." I raised my eyebrows fixing his hair.

"Ok...I will be a peach." Timothy smiled.

*Ding-dong*

"Oh that's Lucas." I set Timothy down and took a deep breath, "I hope I don't say anything stupid tonight."

"Don't worry mom, you got this." Timothy smiled hugging my leg.

"Thanks, kid." I hugged him back. All three of us walked to the living room while opened the front door, "Hi." I smiled moving a piece of my hair behind my ear. I knew I was probably blushing just by the feeling on my cheeks.
