Of course, I got really excited. I screamed the news over to Chels in the kitchen and she was pretty excited for me, too.

After we finished spazzing out, we got back to watching the movie.

Chels fell asleep before the end, and I, unlike her, couldn't sleep at all. So, I decided to text Spencer.

I didn't reply. I wasn't sure how to reply. Was I supposed to say I love him too, even though I just met him and we didn't go on a date or anything? So I just went to sleep before my first day at work, alone.

~THE NEXT DAY~

?????: LEXI! LEXI! WAKE UP!! LEXI, YOU MISSED IT!

I recognized Chels' voice.

Me: *still half sleeping* missed what?

Chels: The Mindless Behavior concert.

I jumped off the bed.

Chels: That got you up! Get ready for work!

Chels: Oh they did!

Chels: Get ready and i'll tell ya.

Me: Nvermind, I'll just check it on my phone.

I dashed up the steps and got myself ready. I wore my red converse, and I curled my ponytail and left two loose curls on the sides, so it looked cuter. I applied some eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss, then headed for the kitchen.

I snuck up to Chels and grabbed my phone out of her hand.

Me: i'll take that.

Chels: *looking me up and down* oooh, you look goood! Almost as good as me.

Me: *laughs* you wish.
