Interviewing maddie856

 1.           How are you?

I'm great, really! Just a little stressed over the upcoming exams and the burden of heavy engineering books that are as huge as a pillow! Very uncomfortable ones, though! *chuckles*

 2.           How did you join WattPad?

I had friend who was a wattpad user. Well she introduced me to this wonderful website and my life's changed since. Haha, well exams were on at that moment and I got hooked onto a thriller and I spent the whole evening before the exam reading the story alternating it with cursing my friend over the phone

 3.           What inspired you to write?

I've been an avid reader since I was a kid. Well, my imagination runs wild and I have a whole universe with characters in my head. I play their story when I'm sad or down and I live my dreams through them. So before I found wattpad, it was all stored in my tiny head. Then once when I started reading and gauging how normal people like us could write and post, I grabbed my pen. Apart from that, I take my everyday inspiration to take my story forward by observing my surroundings. I read people when I'm out in a public place; I eavesdrop on conversation and develop scenarios. And well, for the poems, all my inspiration comes from the pressure my studies put on my petite shoulders. Haha did I just weird you out?

 4.           Favorite book?

My favorite books are too many to count. But if I did have to list one, I'd say 'The Train to Pakistan' by a renowned Indian author 'Khushwant Singh’. The book tears me up every time I read it. And it has also taught me so much in life. It taught me to love selflessly and changed my political views towards the foreign relations between my beloved country India and our neighbor country Pakistan. Well, it changed for good is all I can say!

 5.           Advice to other WattPaders?

Advice to other? Hmm. Well, I'm quite new! So I'd rather take it than give. But all I can say is, I'm not really in favor of the support that the mainstream stories here get because I've seen stories that don't have much reads and votes but have the potential of being published.

 6.           Have you ever lost something important?

Well, I haven't actually lost anything that's very dear to me. But just as you speak I'm reminded on an incident that took place when I was about 10. I was in the park playing with my favorite Barbie when a friend called me to the other end. I sat my Barbie on the bench where I was playing earlier before sprinting to where my friend was. So I came back in a minute and found my Barbie disappears. That was my favorite Barbie, back then, and well losing it so stupidly hurt. So she wore pretty orange lipstick and whenever I wear that lipstick or see that color on other people I'm reminded of the bitter loss. Haha I hope this counts.

 7.           Do you like pickles?

Not really, cause pickle takes away the flavor of the sandwich as I like it.

 8.           Favorite Cereal?

I like oatmeal. It ain't very tasty but hey, it's healthy.

 9.           Favorite Color?

That's one question I never have a constant answer. My favorite color depends on my mood and my new favorite dress. But if ya ask me what suits me the best, well I'll say, I love how baby pink color brings out my complexion.

 10.      Favorite video game?

Umm I'd love to say Grand Theft Auto Series but I'll stick to Burnout Paradise for now! I'm currently hooked to the game for the plain reason of thrill the game provides me.

 11.       What is your greatest fear?

My greatest fear is losing my family. I think that's enough said.

 12.      Describe yourself in one word.

Determined. That's the word. Because when I decide to get something done, I make sure I stick to my decision without caring about the lengths I have to go to, to complete it! :) And well, there are numerous incidents of my life to prove it.

 13.      If you could change one thing about you, what would it be?

That's a simple one, I'll want to be stronger, and emotionally that is. Well, if you haven't guessed already I have major feels, almost all the time. I get sad over petty things and start crying. I try not to show this side to people but when I'm alone is when I break down or a simple clip. I recently was bawling my eyes out, over a video of Wake Me up When September Ends by Green Day. So yeah, I'd want not to be an Emotional wreck.

 14.      Which would you rather have, 100 million dollars or true love?

This one's a no-brainer too. I'd definitely go with the money. I mean honestly love doesn't provide supper. And isn't food the reason we strive? So given an option I'll go with unlimited finance, in my true opinion.

 15.      If you could steal one thing without consequence what would it be?

There's nothing that I can really think of. Maybe rip off a book store.

 16.      Name one thing you totally suck at.

I totally suck at dancing but that doesn't stop me at all. I mean while dancing the only thing I'm good at is doing crazy monkey dance moves apart from that, man I totally suck.

 17.      If you had to live under the sea what kind of an animal would you be?

I think I'd want to be a starfish. All thanks to Patrick Star, I'd love to live his stupid and fun-in-his-own-dumb-way life. And maybe live under a rock. Okay, this is honestly getting interesting as I'm thinking about it more and more.

 18.      Pirates or Ninjas?

Definitely Pirate. And that too, the head pirate or whatever he's called. Come on, I've always wanted to know what it's like to have a hook for a hand, can you blame me?

 19.      Do you have any special/hidden talents?

Talents? Well, I don't know if this counts but I have a really sharp memory. I can remember minute details of people which they told me months ago or a few key points to a lecture that was held weeks ago. So I think, I’ll add that.
