1. How's life going?
- Life? Life is awesome. Thanks for asking.
2. When and why did you join WattPad?
- I joined Wattpad a long, long time ago- probably about a year ago, I can't remember exactly. And it was recommended to me by a friend who refused to stop nagging me until I read her book. So I made an account...
3. Do you think that the cover plays an important part in books?
- Yeah, I do. I think that despite them saying, people DO judge a book by its cover, myself included. A good cover and a catchy title are two most important features of a book (other than the actual story, of course).
4. Do you have any advice for other authors?
- Not really. None that other people haven't already said a million times before me. Um, work hard, don't do drugs and concentrate on your writing, I guess. Have fun and good luck!
5. Do you use social networking sites? If so which ones do you use?
- Well, there's Wattpad, evidently. And I have a Facebook but I can't actually remember the last time I logged into that. I've never been a fan of Twitter so that account got deleted. So, just Wattpad, really. Although I'm pretty sure I forgot to dis-activate my Club Penguin account six years ago- so who knows, that could still be up and running... but it doesn't get used.
6. Do you have a favorite saying?
- Yes: "Old enough to know better- too young to care" -it's a quote by... someone whose name I've forgotten, and I love it! I'm also pretty fond of saying "Awesome," without realizing it.
7. Do you play any sports?
- Yeah, actually I like sports. I play squash and softball every now and then and my position is usually second base in softball. I also play football (soccer) unofficially but I'm not great at following the rules. Personally, I think kicking people in the shins should be considered defending the ball...
8. If you could be any cartoon character, which character would you be?
- Ooh...don't make me choose. I don't really know so I'm going to answer Mickey Mouse because a friend keeps calling me that... yeah, I have some questionable friends.
Wait, wait, can I take it back? I'm taking it back- I pick Scooby Doo because I loved that show when I was kid!
9. What was the last thing you ate?
- Skittles. I'm serious; I just finished all the red ones. P.S, the red ones are the best :)
10. If you were another person would you (who is someone else) be friends with yourself?
- Um, well... I know I should answer yes because this is my chance to make everyone think I'm a lovely human being, but probably not. I'd probably annoy myself too much.
11. When/Who was your first crush?
- Honestly, I can't remember. But it must have been... year 5, I think? I'm not sure.
12. If you were a super hero what powers would you have?
- All of them! Invisibility, telekinesis (did I spell that right?), flight, immortality, super strength, super speed. Imagine all the things you could do...
13. Name one thing you totally suck at.
- But there are so many! Math, cooking, academics... Actually, my biggest flaw is probably, how do I put it? I'm really not empathetic- I don't do the touchy-feely-feelings thing. I'm blunt and I can't take the hint. If you're upset, just spell it out to me, but don't expect me to pick up on it...
14. If you had to live under the sea what kind of an animal would you be?
- A mermaid! When I was five, I could have recited the whole The Little Mermaid film- I was obsessed. I feel like I owe it to my childhood to answer with a mermaid.
15. Name a singer/band that you can't stand the sound of.
- Wait for it, I'm about to piss off the majority of the Wattpad population: Any and every pop and/or rap band out there. Call me close-minded but I can't stand any of them. Especially 1D, Rihanna and that Justin Kid- urgh, it's making my skin crawl just talking about them...
16. Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more?
- Please tell me that's a trick question. That's like asking me if I'd rather chop off my arm or my leg. But, I guess... I think I like comedies more. Awesome, now I feel like a traitor to the horror genre. Cheers for that...
17. What do you call male ballerinas?
- I don't know... I've never had a conversation about them before. I'd call them male ballerinas, I guess. What does everyone else call them?
18. Tea or Coffee?
- Tea! I'm a typical Brit in that respect- I love my tea. Two sugars and milk, please.
19. What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?
- You mean other than the fact that they're the opposite sex? Humor, I judge a person completely on their sense of humor. I know I shouldn't, but I do. So sue me.
20. Do you have any siblings? If so, do they have WattPad?
- Yeah I do, but neither of them have a Wattpad account.
21. 3 things you cannot live without?
- Oxygen, nutrition and water. Okay, seriously three things I could not live without:
1) Music (decent music)
2) Books
3) People I care about -in that order
22. If you could steal one thing without consequence what would it be?
- Ah, good question. Um? I'm not sure- do people count? If they do, probably one of my favorite musicians. If they don't... money, lots and lots of money.
