You looked down on the ground, trying to follow the bodyguard in front of you. Being famous had its ups and downs and the paparazzi was definently the down side. You had one hit song and your face had been on every gossip magazine and the paparazzi had followed you like crazy since then. It was quite fun to experience the fame-life the first week but then it just got out of hand.
"Are we going to mr. Sugg's house?" your driver James asked and you nodded in response, as you played yourself in the black Range Rover.
Joe Sugg was a famous youtuber and you had met through his sister Zoe whom you went to high school with. You met Joe at a party and ended up hooking up, and from there you had started seeing each other a little bit. It wasn't anything serious. You were just having fun with each other. The paparazzi had some pictures of you and Joe walking about in London but when anyone asked you about your relationship to Joe, you always said you were just friends. Which you were. For now at least.
"We are here, and it looks like it's paparazzi free," James said from the drivers seat and you smiled at him.
"Thank you James," you said as James opened the door for you.
"Just call me when you decide you want to go home," James said as he closed the door behind me. It was quite windy in London today, which made my hair go all over my face.
"I will, thank you," you answered and smiled at your driver before you entered the apartment building where Joe and his roommate Caspar shared a flat. Caspar was a youtuber as well and he was such a joker. You always had a good time whenever he was around. You walked up the stairs and knocked on their front door. Within seconds Caspar had opened the door with a big smile across his face.
"Omg it's Y/N!! Joe, a famous singer is here, omg!" Caspar joked as you entered the flat and you rolled your eyes at him with a laugh. He always teased you whenever you were around but it was quite funny, so you didn't mind.
"I'm just kidding, how are you?" Caspar then said before giving you a warm hug.
"I'm good yeah, what about you? Still single?" you asked with a sarcastic smile and Caspar gently pushed you.
"Joe, Y/N is teasing me," Caspar said with a pout as Joe walked up the stairs and towards you. He was looking really handsome and you couldn't help but smile.
"He can't handle it Y/N. You know that," Joe said jokingly and you all laughed before Joe embraced you in his arms.
"Let's go downstairs," Joe said as he left a small kiss on your cheek, and you followed him downstairs.
6 months later
You smiled as the flashes from the cameras almost blinded you.
"Y/N, Y/N over here!" everyone yelled at you as you walked further down the red carpet. It was time for the TCA's and because you were nominated you were attending it. Award shows were okay, but it was just so exhausting walking around in a dress and heels all night. You liked your sweatpants and slippers better.
"Time to head in Y/N," your agent said to you who were accompanying you tonight. You nodded before following her inside the venue. There were people everywhere and you felt quite overwhelmed. You followed your agent down the isle towards your seat. You had no idea who you were gonna be sitting next to but you kinda hoped Rihanna og Beyonce. That was the ultimate girl dream of yours.
"Here's your seat. I'll see you after the show," your agent said and you nodded with a smile whilst watching her walk away from you. You instantly looked at the seat next to yours and your jaw dropped. Your belly started to tickle and you couldn't tell whether you felt nervous or happy. Joe Sugg was sitting next to you. You had not seen Joe for 6 months as both of you were just too busy to continue seeing each other. You moved to Los Angeles and it just got too complicated, but now you were supposed to sit next to him. You were definently nervous.
"Y/N?" an all too well-known voice said beside you, and you turned your head to see Joe. He was wearing a black suit with a butterfly and his hair was slicked back in a messy way. He looked absolutely amazing. You could already feel butterflies in your belly.
"Joe!" you exclaimed with a smile as you stood up from the chair to give him a hug.
"I missed you so much," Joe whispered whilst hugging you, and you smiled.
"I missed you too," you answered before you pulled apart to sit on the chairs.
"Let me just say that I'm so sorry about everything. I never wanted to end things with you but everything just got too complicated," Joe said as he looked straight into your eyes. You nodded in agreement.
"I'm sorry too," you answered and Joe smiled at you.
"Let me also just say how beautiful you look," Joe said with that charming smile of his and you could feel yourself blush.
"You don't look so bad either," you said with a smirk, which made Joe chuckle.
"Still so funny," Joe said and you both laughed. It felt so good to talk with him again and feelings whelmed up inside of you.
"Y/N?" Joe suddenly whispered to you after the show had begun. You looked at him with a questioning look.
"Could there in any way possible be a chance that we could try again?" he then asked and you looked at him surprised, but you ended up smiling by the thought.
"I would say there is a chance," you answered with a smile and you could see how happy it made Joe.
"Can I kiss you?" Joe then said and you couldn't help but laugh silently as you didn't want to disturb the show.
"So you wanna go public this time?" you asked with raised eyebrows and Joe smiled big at you.
"If it's okay with you?" Joe said a bit nervously and you smiled once again before placing a deep kiss on his lips. Everything you ever felt for Joe whelmed up again and you knew you had made the right decision. You had missed him so much and it felt amazing to finally be back with him, and now you could tell the world as well.
