Chapter 24: Silently, Wordlessly Wrote His Promises In Stone.

"So how was you birthday?" Jen asked while wiggleing her eyebrows in a suggestive manner. 

I rolled my eyes at her but blushed because she was right. After our dinner date we spent the night in his old apartment. We did a lot of things last night that I would never dare repeat not for embarrassment but if I did then I'm sure everyone would smell the lust on me from remembering it. 

"That's gross, Jen." Tommy's face pinched in disgust. My face fell, the boys had been no less cruel lately. And that they'd just gotten off school for winter break so we had them all to ourselves. 

"We want a vacation." Jamie said out of the blue but I kind of figured they wanted to ask something since Liam and Damien kept nudging him. 

"I thought you were on one." Logan said taking a sip of his beer. Logan's patience of the boys were wearing thin, he's tried to stay calm but even I was getting fed up with their antics. The others usually just leave when things start getting out of hand, or rather every one tries to push Jen's loudmouth out. A lull settled over the dinner table sensing Logan's growing irritation. 

"Okay how about the fact that we want a vaction from the two of you and we want to take our mates."  Damien narrowed his eyes between the two of us. 

"And what exactly do you propose?" Logan said and I took his hand to hopefully take away some of the anger. 

"Spending the next two weeks in a cabin in the mountains." Tommy number off, "the Bahamas, California, and maybe even a cruise." 

"How do you expect to pay for it?" Logan asked as the staff took away our empty plates. 

"I think we deserve that don't you think, after the way you treated our mates." Damien growled. That made Logan's jaw clench and his grip on the chair's armrest broke. 

"Guys," Seb tried to make the boys back down from challenging Logan. "Stop." Rachel begged.

"Easy for you to say! They accepted you guys the minute you found each other!" 

"Oh cut that shit out!" Seb growled, "are you kidding me? You were there, Mason and Michael hate me and they tell me that every minute they can. But I deal with it because I know it's only because they love Rachel and they think she deserves better. Hell you're mates deserve way fucking better not just because of our past but because of how you guys have been acting. I defended you guys but that shit is done! For everything Madison and Logan has done for us- for you! Fuck you guys!" Seb growled at them. His chest rose and fell as he let out angry pants. We all stared at him until finally, "until you guys apologize to the two people who have only had our best interests at heart, don't you dare talk to me." He growled again and then stormed out. 

Rachel slowly stood up, "yeah, me neither." She walked out but stopped and faced Mason and Micheal, "don't you dare talk to me either, assholes." She growled at her half-brothers. 

"Sleep tight Jen, Parker, Madison, and Logan!" She grinned and chased after her mate. 

We were all shocked to say the least. 

"Well then, I'm going to take care of my babies and you" Jen pointed at Mason, "will apologize to Seb right now." She then got up and grabbed Parker leaving us there. 

"What the hell we didn't do anything!" Mason whined. 

Michael took a sip of his beer without any emotion as usual, "told you that prank on the kid was going too far." He sighed. 

"Let's go to bed, my hormones are starting to act up." I whimpered as tears went down my cheeks after Seb did his best to defend us. 

Logan nodded and pulled us up. We left the six wolves in the dog house to ponder their mistakes.
